It was the best Friday the 13th movie that I have seen since Friday the 13th Part7: The New Blood. Friday the 13th (2009), was so much better than Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan, Jason goes to Hell, Jason X, and Freddy Vs. Jason. Micheal Bay did a great job making the movie. Hopefully they will make more of them soon. Everyone loves the Jason franchise and won't let him die. Reply if you think that the new movie is the best one since Part 7 The movie totally rocked. As awesome as Savini is...he's never been a fan of the series outside of the first film. Yeah. As awesome as Savini is…he’s never been a fan of the series outside of the first film.

It was everything I hoped it would be. I had a few minor nitpicks, but overall it was a fun flick, and I'm looking forward to seeing again with the movie cash I got from His Name Was Jason. There's a kind of Texas Chainsaw remake feel to it, but I think that mainly comes from the townspeople. Incidentally, Tom Savini was in the screening too, and he didn't care for the movie. His biggest gripe seemed to be the dialogue from some of the teens. He's never really been a fan of the series though, and even said the Jason documnetary he hosted was too long, so don't let his opinion sway you if you're a die hard fan. I can't think of a better way to spend your Friday night than seeing this movie with some friends. I was lucky enough to catch a screening last night here in Pittsburgh, and I loved it!
