Fan Film: Friday the 13th Part 3: Jason’s Revenge
This film was part of a trilogy created by Del From Hell Studios. According to their information the first two films only reside on VHS. This was a really fun film to watch as it has all sorts of different elements to it. First off, the beginning of the film shows the events that unfolded at the end of Part 2 which has Jason sporting the hockey mask displayed on the U.S. A New Beginning VHS box cover! As the film progresses they use the mythos created in Jason Goes To Hell, whereas the magic dagger and Book of the Dead are pivotal points in the story.
This film features drunken friends in the woods getting double impaled through the neck with tree branches, classic Friday scores, an epic machete fight, theme music from the movies The Rock and Face/Off and much, much more. Check out the trailer and Part 1 of the movie below and then watch the rest of movie starting with Part 2. Enjoy!

Movie – Part 1 of 8
I\’ll have 2 watch it but just from the trailer I dont think I like the way Jason looks.
I didn´t like this one. The sci-fi/fantasy aspect off this fanfilm sucked. 2 guys were talking about magical daggers and magic-books for minutes … that´s something I espec from Higlander or Harry Potter but not from an F13. Jason was slow, heavy-breathing and had the machte glued to his hands … not my cup of tea as everyone knows.
Again, Germaniac does not like that Kane Hodder.
I do see where you coming from with the fantasy aspect. I thought some of the filming wasn’t half bad, however. I give them credit for at least putting together a well made movie as far as fan films go.
That trailer was freaking awesome.
I actually have 2 of these on VHS which looks to be like 10th generation.
Voorhees is is misspelled in the opening credits.
I haven’t watched the whole thing yet, but I’ve made it to the halfway point, and I’ve got to say… that scene where Jason is confronted by a mugger who threatens him with a switchblade? And Jason regards it a moment before holding up his machete for comparison? I. Loved. That.
I can never be too critical about fan films, they’re clearly done by real fans with real love for Jason. However, I can never really enjoy them as much as I would enjoy my own home made fan film about Jason. I think that’s the main appeal, that you made your own little Friday movie, but for others it can be a bit of a bore. Not all of them though. And yes(Chris. B) the trailer looked like a lot of fun. And that initial scare when Jason appears for the first time in this fan film was quite effective.
