  1. Does anybody know if the Deluxe Edition DVD of Friday Part 1 Uncut is cropped like the Blu-ray is?

  2. Yes it is, they used the Warner edit.

The 2003 DVD release of F13 1 uncut was also cropped(back then, nobody made a problem because of it).

Is this F13 ‘09 bluray the new longer version?

  3. Yes the Killer Cut will have approx 9 min added aswell as the young jason scene at the start…..

  4. Lammert, thanks for the reply.

  5. It really sucks, how some of the film studios are too cheap to remaster from the original negative. I’ve noticed that most of the 1.85 widescreen DVDs’ of old horror movies like Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm st, Evil Dead, The Howling etc.., are just being cropped from the old fullscreen prints. I don’t know about anybody else, but I think that’s fucked up. The whole point of widescreen, the whole sales pitch was that we were getting more of the picture, not less.
