I do agree that such talk is WAY off-topic, TommyBlah.

That is also why I’ve pretty much stopped going to genre film world mesage boards and the like. WAY too much complaining, everyone saying “Whoa, THIS is gonna fuckin’ blow/suck” even before they’ve seen a finished film project, ect. It’s why I mainly just chain-link e-mail a few select friends to talk about stuff and simply watch the films themselves on DVD on my decent TV set and my up-converter homea theatre system, cause of all the complaining and pointless off-topic bickering.

But yeah, good mini rant there.

Also, wish I chould get into those props, but they’re New Line Cinema era, and damn, are screen used props ever expensive (plus I just don’t care about them persnoally; not over good posters and the actual films themselves, but to each they’re own).

and there is no concrete evidence that jesus even existed. there are just written accounts which were derived from oral accounts…and they were modified hundreds of times before the versions we got. that’s pretty worthless. so worthless that if the story is far-fetched enough you can accept it as fiction…pointless to argue over any of the details. tell people abraham lincoln was mexican. unlike jesus there are pictures of him and recordings of things he said.

That’s like saying it doesn’t matter that we tell people that Abraham Lincoln was Mexican. Or that Jason was black. It’s called historical accuracy. Our civilization is founded on being able to discuss all things with some ground rules, i.e. a basis in fact. That’s why we have dictionaries and encyclopedias.

So, though it may not be directly relevant to Friday 13 whether Jesus was black or not, the concept of fact/fiction subjective/objective is very important for all discussions and all message boards. Water is wet, the sky is blue, Jesus was black.
