Our first home video system was CED (or "video disc" as it was commonly called at the time). You had to flip the movie over half-way through the film, and pretty much everything was pan-and-scan! These really sucked, but at the time we thought they were awesome! I will say that the gigantic covers were cool for checking out the artwork. Ah, the good ol’ days!
