Tim Whitfield lives?!? Man, now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a really LONG time! Here’s to looking forward to this new venture.

To echo the initial sentiment above, yes, a LOT of fan films tend to pander heavily to Jason-love-ins. However, if this is in the vein of Mother’s Day – then it’ll certainly be worth a look.

As for Cold Heart, I had a chance to download it – back when it was originally available. However, and don’t hate me for this JP, but I haven’t yet had the chance to view it!

Still, it’s good to see Jason back in proper form – and in the hands of folks who SHOULD be making the new features. People who obviously wear their hearts for the material on their sleeves.

i think it’s pretty damn good. hot lez’s to start out, some lovely nudity, kills reminiscent of the series. hell yeah!! the music’s actually pretty good and fitting and the acting ain’t bad. i dig it. i just wish i could download it to put with my stash of f13th rarities.

now THIS should be put in the place of garbage like “Lost Tales from Camp Blood”.

what are the rules for distributing fanfilms? i think you’re not allowed to make any profit off of it if you use the characters, music, etc. i’d like to hear a slightly modified version of the original score…hell i’d volunteer to make it but unfortunately i just replaced my computer and my sound card for recording isn’t compatible…and with the economic times, i won’t be replacing it for a while.

i’d say they should package it up nice and just make it a minimum donation type thing, to cover costs. i’d be willing to donate the amount i’d pay for any official movie.

any chance this is being filmed in hi-def???

Im kinda curious… how did the people involved with this fanfilm get the money to do such? AND would it be possible to get a DVD-R of it when it’s done? Would be cool to add a few fan films to my Friday the 13th collection.

To expand on people saying this looks very professional and whatnot, I think the movie looks well thought-out, shot, and the atmosphere seems to be there. My question though is this: What do you plan to use for music?
