He and the remake of the classic franchise didn't disappoint me. He was just plain awesome, and he seems like such a nice guy! :D Totally awesome. He did a great job, and it's true that his passion for Jason was really what helped make him just play the role down flat. Sure, Jason is kind of easy in some ways to play, but even then it takes a lot to really get it down right. Derek nailed it right on the head, he did really good. I sure hope he'll come back again in the next film! And on another note, new video games featuring the horror icon slashers really is WAY overdue. Derek did such a great job playing Jason! AWESOME! I always pull for Jason so some of the other movie-goers probably think that I am a wacko. There's just something about Jason though that makes me want him to win.
