Crash is amazing. Truly. I purchased a “Clean Part 3″ from him a while back. Hangs on my music room wall. I swear, it looks straight from the film.

David: Crash has stated that he’s finished with screen acurate hock work, but I think he still takes commissions for custom hocks. Of course, interesting one-offs show up every once in a while. I’m glad I got my “Perfect Part 3″ from him a while back. I cherish that mask for the masterpiece it is.

Great interview. I’m proud that someone from North Carolina like me is involved with Friday the 13th from making the masks to the busts to the arts work. And him getting calls & meeting some folks from F13th films make me so envy of him!!

The interview is great. Crash clearly illustrates by his own example how cool it is when a true fan contributes his creativity to the franchise.
sad i haven’t seen deluxe DVDs yet. I eager to do that a lot.

Great interview. Crash has always done great work. I really want one of those HLM’s too! He’s right about the hocks too, the shape of the eyes are crucial to achieving the ‘look’ of each mask.

I’m sure this was just an oversight, but it should be A New Beginning, right? Or was he referring to Buechler?
