Marta never won an Emmy but she was nominated for an Emmy for Rodeo Red And The Runaway. However she did win a Christopher Award.
As for her being a minor I don’t know. I’ve heard she was born in 65 which would make her about 16 or so when Part 2 was filmed, however, when she was filming Part 2 she was attending NYU. She does state that she is 45 though. I highly doubt she was a minor. If she was she wouldn’t have been able to film the sex scene with Bill Randolph. Even if she was emancipated.
I do wish Marta all the best though. She was always my favorite Friday girl.

This woman is a pathological liar.
1.She never won an Emmy.
2.After School Special was on ABC not NBC.
3.She did not attend the premiere with Tom McBride.
4.She never worked for any record company.
5.She did not audition for another F13,it was Kerry Noonan from P6 who was almost later cast in P9. She lied to Grove. Cannot believe he did not contact anyone involved with P7 to verify the story before publication.
6.She never had possession of Pam’s head to keep it.
7.She was not a minor when she was filming F2.
8.Jack Westin spelled his last name Weston and at 52, Keenan Wayans is hardly old and certainly was not when she supposedly worked with him. Seriously doubt she ever had a conversation with either.

You should remove this interview so it will not jeopardize the credibility of this great site.

I have always loved part 2 and loved marta’s character. Did she become irritated in the interview or something, she didn’t elaborate on anything, almost like she was fibbing a little. I don’t know if I am the only one that questions if she really had Mrs Vorhee’s head prop because she follows with she lost that stuff. Why would you lose a film prop that you knew was a huge film and a piece that was a big part of the film for that matter. Not to mention what it is worth. I also wondered if she was trying to make herself seem more accomplished than what she really is. I am totally not trying to attack her, I have always loved her in part two, and I wasn’t there to see her facial expressions, just my gut says something isn’t right. Did she seem shady while the interview was going on?

Jason, I think you did a great job with the questions and I thought her answers were pretty good for something that happened 20 years ago. Chris and I got to be with her all weekend at Monstermania and while the typing may not be the best, she relayed alot of those stories directly to us and to many fans. She was wonderful with the fans and writing and saying her quotes.
As far as the head, if you read her answer she says all was lost.

Thank you Jason and Rangerdave for supporting her and the interview. For the diehard fans, even ONE question from a star who has been MIA for some time is awesome! For Chris and I, finding Marta was huge and many of the fans who came to her table said they came out just to meet her. Which I believe because we would have traveled ANYWHERE to get her ourselves!

Sorry for those who were disappointed, all I can say is come out to the shows and meet them for yourself and then you can ask the questions that you want to know.

Give Marta a break, guys. I thought she did a wonderful job. Anytime you get these former Friday stars doing an interview, you should consider it a blessing. Many of these people have went on, to bigger things. You tend to forget things, which happened on and off screen at the time. It has been nearly thirty years.

Sorry you were not impressed, Dennis. Apparently you have conducted better? An interview is as good as the questions that are asked and the answers that are given. I think the questions are very good.

Although Marta had short answers, she did give some interesting info that people did not know before. At least you were able to find out a few things that were not known before.

some parts of this interview kind of blew my mind:

1. She kept Pam’s head??? Where is it now??????
2. She worked for Death Row Records?
3. She got deported from London? Did I read that right?
4. She was a minor? Does that make me a pedophile?

The answers may have been short if she was a bad typer, i have a friend like that, all caps too.

Marta’s answers were very short, which we are not use to with interviews normally posted here. However, she answered these questions while she was on the go and it has been a while for her since the movie was released. She did a pretty good job of remembering things. I too am surprised that she is involved in Def Jam records.

Also, how about the fact that she mentions that she kept Mrs Voorhees head prop from the fridge!
