Part 1 Blue Ray was released with the theatrical release, and Parts 2 and 3 when Part 12 came to DVD and Blue Ray Release. Maybe Parts 4 5 6 for Theatrical and Part 7 and 8 for home? I think they will eventually be made. They're just wanting to ride the new movies for marketing reasons and that's pretty standard. I too think they are waiting for the sequel.
