What can really say here? To the folks here who support me and my work, thank you, I do appreciate the support, but please don’t defend me here. I ask that the bashing of Tarallo and his artists stop.

I’ve gone back and forth with them for a while, and this here is just making the flames burn hotter, it’s just going to cause more drama for me and them.

Who ever is in charge of this blog should disable posting. This should have been done months ago it seems.

The one thing I will comment on here is the BS that my masks are recasts. My masks are NOT direct recasts of Ken Tarallo’s. Anyone who owns both my mask and Ken’s can tell you they’re different.

Ken when I get back to NY on Monday I’m going to give you a call. This sh*t needs to be settled. You know how I feel about you, and I know how you feel about me. What’s being said here about you has nothing to do with me. People were calling you a BS artist long before I ever did, so don’t pull the it’s cause of you sh*t either. I can go into a long winded post here and say this and that, but it’s not going to solve anything. I’ll call you tomorrow. If we don’t settle this drama between us it’s never going to end.

If you think Doug created the mask? then why hasn’t he contacted me for fraud? because he knows I could have worked on the mask, there where many guys who worked on this mask I have NEVER said I created it all, I have always said it was a group effort …
That is how we work in the industry..
People are bashing me because they wanted to sell a product thinking I make tons of money, but in reality with my time I dont make that much..

SO you may believe what you want, I just want to say my 2 cents..
BUt I will say agin I own the original mold that I created… think about this why is every mark in my mask in the part 3 movie?? remember Doug said his mold went missing and my mask was NOT from his mold??? think…… That is all I ask..

and for the no credit listing, I had credit listed on IMDB for many uears for Friday the 13th as special effects along with Martin Becker, but since I only did a little part I took it down..
all my facts can be proven by people still in the industry.. so in court I win.. in your minds maybe changed or not we will see…
but please don’t bash my name unless you know facts… That is all I am asking

I can’t find anything saying Ken worked on a Friday the 13th film. All the books and other docs credit Douglas J.White and others with the creation of the mask.

Looking at Ken’s imdb there’s no doubt that he works in the SFX biz, but I don’t see Friday the 13th listed as a credit…? It’s not uncommon not to be credited, but I’m sure someone would remember who made the mask, so what Ken claims should be easy to prove, or disprove…

In his name was jason it was joked how everyone wants to claim they created the mask, well Ken can just be one of these guys. He has a mask mold, but so do a lot of people it seems, and you’re not going to tell one mold from the next.

Again, not taking a side, but I wanted to point out a few things.

Ken there’s two things you said that I found a bit odd, I just want to comment on them since they’re bugging me.

The way you come off here seems..well, it’s strange, it’s like you want to know who people are so you can fight with them. It’s like you’re calling them cowards also. It’s the internet bro, people have names they go by. I don’t think a person here is going to post thier full name for everyone to see. Do that and you’ll find yourself spammed from here till christmas.

This one is really odd…Are you talking about phone calls? If so, why record conversations? Why even admit that!? That’s kind of illegal bro. It does seem like you have a lot to prove, even though you say you’re not out to, you seem to want to.

As for jeff/jdf. I checked out his site and he seems to have put himself out of business. His blogs say the fighting between himself and frightstuff got him fed up. To me those are the actions of a beaten man, so maybe there’s a little truth to some bullying going on. Is jeff/jdf a recaster? Since the original mask was a copy of another I don’t see a crime in it, so saying jeff/jdf is a recaster is like one thief calling the other the same.

That’s my take on this.

Maybe I’m missing something, but who really cares about JDF anyway? If his masks are recasts Ken should just sue him…is that a problem? Ken did say he owned rights to these masks, so just sue the shit out of him and make a point.

I for one don’t believe Ken what so ever. If Ken created this mask it should be real easy to prove. I remember when Ken started selling these masks, and it wasn’t 1988, it was around 2026 -2005. Anyone who’s a mask collector knows the deal with hock replicas. Accurate masks started appearing online when Cropsy, who recasted a part 6 screen used, started selling them. Others who had screen masks started doing the same, and other people started recasting the recasters. There was no Ken Tarallo. Go to any mask collecting community and just ask their long time members about Ken. A lot of communities are actually sick of the debate, so watch how you ask.

I also remember Ken’s collector’s find site. The masks he sold back then (2005) where different from what you buy now, but apparently all from the same movie mold. My friend owns two Frightstuff masks, an older one purchased around 2026 -2006, and one purchased just last year..the older mask is much bigger, and there’s a dent in the mouth area. The shape of the mask seems a bit different as well. Obviously Ken is using two molds, Don’t know what this means, but I always thought there was one movie mold, and Ken had it.

There’s a lot of bull going around, and I just think Ken’s stories don’t add up. Flame me all you want, but until a film producer or other FX guys who actually worked on these films say yeah Ken did it, I’m not going to buy what Ken says.

To sum things up here. I don’t believe Ken, and I think he’s taking fans for a ride. I’ve seen all the drama unfold over the years, and I also think fright stuff are bullies when it comes to these masks. To bring up my friend again, the mask he purchased last year, my friend painted this mask up and sold it on ebay. My friend listed the mask as from the movie mold, but he did not say it was a fright stuff mask. Days after he listed the mask for sale he got two emails from frightstuff guys telling him he was selling an illegal knockoff, one told him to remove the listing or be reported…now wtf is that!? I’ll never buy a thing from fright stuff, in fact my mask collecting days are over because there’s way too much bs all around this hobby.
