Continuing our themed weekday showcases, Tuesdays will now be our weekly slot to spotlight a certain Friday the 13th item or items that are up for sale that may be of interest to the community. This week we want to make you aware that Ones Customs’ The New Blood 7 inch custom Jason figure has been put up for sale from the original buyer from last year.

This custom figure and diorama from the John Carl Buechler movie comes complete with forest base and tree. All of Jason’s weapons from the film have been generously included as well as the famous sleeping bag victim so you crazy fans can reenact Kane Hodder’s favorite kill. Jason Voorhees Has Mighty Muggs

There are a number of collectors and customizers that visit this website and it is always fun to showcase something different that those people may be aware of, but the casual Friday the 13th fan may not be. Enter the world of Mighty Muggs. Mighty Muggs are a vinyl–plastic collectible toy series made by Hasbro. The toys resemble deformed versions of characters from the following franchises: Star Wars, Marvel Comics, Indiana Jones, G.I. Joe, and Transformers. There is a line of smaller figures, called Mini Muggs, as well as blank Mighty Muggs for customization.

The blank Muggs are what bring joy to customizer’s faces. Throughout the last few years, creative and talented people have created renditions of their favorite horror characters and Jason Voorhees has not been left out in the cold. Take a look at some of the great examples of work that have been realized from the past couple of years. One fan even created custom packaging for his Might Muggs Jason.

Sneak Preview: Full 1/6 Scale Winston’s Part 3

Througout the last couple of months, Ken McCabe has been updating us on the progress of a project he has been a part of that is to create the most accurate 1/6 scale Jason Voorhees figures ever imagined. To this point we have seen only the head sculpts of the figures, which are really impressive. Now, Ken has sent us a video which is a sneak preview of the full figure from Friday teh 13th Part 3. The head sculpt for this figure is inspired by Stan Winston’s makeup and is representative as such.

Custom Head Sculpts From Pinehurst To Manhattan

It’s been a while since we featured some of One’s Customs Friday the 13th custom work and with Halloween now past us, it’s time to get ready for the holiday gift giving season. If you’re a fan of the series, and why would you not be if you’re hear reading this, then you will definitely enjoy One’s recent work. Currently, he completed some head sculpts for Roy from Friday the 13th: A New Beginning and Jason from Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan. Both of the sculpts are highy detailed and would be great on a full body representation of the characters.

Custom 1/6 Scale Jason Goes To Hell and Part 8 Sculpts

Last month we were updated on the progress of these simply awesome 1/6 scale custom Jason Voorhees heads which will be used to fit on 12″ Sideshow bodies. The last images we were provided were a WIP Jason Goes To Hell sculpt. Now, new images have emerged of the finished JGTH sculpt as well as a new WIP Jason Takes Manhattan head. The new images are simply stunning and would be great poieces to add to a Friday fan’s collection.

One of the callaborators, Ken McCabe has been nice enough to update us on the progress of these sculpts. His initial email explains the future plans of these custom figures.

I recently partnered up with a really close friend and we are going about this together 50/50 on the commissions and clothing etc.. We are planning to do EVERY JASON from a child up to the remake. Once these sculpts come to fruition and we get the proper bodies, accessories and props to create the perfect 1:6 scale figure we will be offering these for sale as either unpainted kits or fully painted figures. The one thing we are trying to focus on is keeping the cost down as these custom jobs aren’t cheap.

Back in June , we showed you some truly spectacular custom Jason head sculpts that were being prepared for full 1/6 scale custom figures. Many of the head sculpts are still in progress, but from what we are being told, everything is getting closer to completion. The Ultimate 1/6 Scale Jason Takes Manhattan Figure

One’s Customs is continuing to improve his craft when it comes to creating the most realistic and screen accurate figures from the series. He has been creating figures that the fans have been clamoring for, Jason Takes Manhattan and Roy from A New Beginning, for well over a year now. The most requested figure has been the Jason Takes Manhattan figure that has been created in 7 inch form. Now, One’s Customs has stepped up his custom work and created, in my mind, the ultimate Part 8 Jason Voorhees figure in 1/6 scale.

The figure was created on commission, so it is not for sale now, but look at the photos of the figure below. Alright, everyone, as many of the visitors to this website know, we have had a crazy summer of contests. We gave away more prizes in 4 months than Price is Right. Anyone even know what that show is anymore? Anyways, we had a very successful contest for One’s Customs’ Crazy Ralph figure this past June. With that being said, we did hear from some people that they would have loved to win a Jason Voorhees figure. Well, everyone here is in luck!

We had such a successful and fun time with our last contest, that One’s Customs and Friday the 13th: The Website is going to give away a ‘New Blood’ Jason. Now, this is just a preview of what is to come. Since this is a preview, we are not going to tell you what the contest is going to entail just yet. However, check out the in-progress photos of the custom ‘The New Blood’ Jason that is being created for the contest. Yes, the figure will be painted and clothed and come with accessories. So, keep an eye out for that contest in the near future and make sure to check out the Youtube channel for One’s Customs!

Custom 12″ ‘Jason Takes Manhattan’ Sideshow Figure

When we posted our story about NECA’s plans for releasing more Jason figures, our visitors responded with wishes of seeing versions of Jason that were not released with official licenses. Many collectors of the Sideshow figures desperately want to complete their collection of Jason’s and lack the Roy figure from ‘A New Beginning’ and Jason from ‘Jason Takes Manhattan’. Some have gone the custom figure route to complete their collection and those figures are made quite well.

I found one particular ‘Jason Takes Manhattan’ custom 12 inch figure that would fit right into someone’s collection and it is made quite well. The figure is listed on the Nightowl forums and the creator is asking $100 for the figure and custom made display base. Figure details
-film accuratly torn clothing
-film accurate hockey mask (not removable)
-latex skin applied over armature for a nasty “skin” feeling
-An overall “drenched” look to seem like he’s fresh out of Crystal lake
-Grass/mold in some areas of the body(including the left shoulder just like in the film)

Also included is:
-Bloody axe
-Bloody machete

The waters of New York and blood are going down the drain on the base of the stand, which is a street.
Behind jason is bricks for “city” look.
Stuck between the bricks is Jason’s stand that holds him up.

“Homer Voorhees” Stalks Crystal Lake

A visitor named “Kevin” sent me an email pertaining to this figure and I thought it was one of the coolest things I have seen recently. I just wish it wasn’t fake, or is it….? I am pretty sure this a custom made Homer figure, but whichever fan made this, did one hell of a job. If this was sold in stores, I would buy it! Anyways, check out “Homer Voorhees” in the pic at the bottom and beware, this Voorhees may just take all of your Duff beer and doughnuts before giving you the machete to the chest.
