This mask truly is a holy grail for collectors and fans alike. Well, that holy grail currently resides in the custody of Hollywood stuntman/actor Dick Warlock. Yes, that is the same Dick Warlock that portrayed The Shape in the 1981 film, Halloween 2. What a lucky person, indeed. Not only does he have the honor of playing Michael Myers on film, he holds in his hand franchise movie history spanning three Friday the 13th films.

Recently, jasonlivessince1980 completed his ultimate homage to that one hockey mask and titled it, ‘Ultimate Dick Warlock Hockey Mask’. Take a look at his pics below and pay special attention to the comparison shot with the screen used mask on the right and the replica mask on the left.

One is the Crystal Lake Gazette, which visitors will hopefully see sometime in the next week or so. Don’t expect a huge offering right off the bat. This is going to be something that grows and hopefully with your input and help. Another project requires your input as well.

The fans just about experienced that very scenario in The Final Chapter as only half of the top chevron was left when Ted White’s iconic portrayal of the homicidal maniac met his demise. Well, over at http://jasonlivessince1980.blogspot.com/, a custom hock is showcased that comes pretty darn close to what I have always envisioned.

My perfect hock for this look would have a little more dirt under the eyes, but other than that, this is a great custom hock and would be perfect for a sequel, since the chevrons tend to rub off over time or with conflict. This hockey mask version would have elminated the apparent copyright problem with the Deluxe DVD version from last year which caused the Roy chevrons to be used.

Would this be a good version for a sequel?
