Jeff has really solidified this as the best Manhattan fan made costume out there. Even with the dried clothing it looks spectacular. He mentions that he used both a Crash and fiberglassmask Part 8 hock for his pictures. Check out his images below and view the entire array of photos at Benevolent Street.
I saw this the other day and I was struck by how detailed the work was. This original work has Jason hand painted on top of an actual New York City Subway Map. Of course, this looks a lot like the banned Jason Takes Manhatan poster with Jason ripping through the I Love New York [...]
I love the Jason Takes Manhattan look of Jason. He is the ultimate city nightstalker. Since there has not been an officially licensed figure from this movie, there have been a number of custom figures made within the last year. One’s Customs has produced the best quality 7 inch figure I have seen so far. [...]
Normally we list these types of items seperately, but there were so many of these rare items, I figured we would list them altogether in one post. I have only seen these items posted once before within the last year or longer.
Jason Lives Japanese Laserdisc
This is the Japan LaserDisc release of Friday The 13th Part [...]
One’s Customs is back and better than ever with his new custom Jason Takes Manhattan figure, display base and accessories. Check out his description below and to bid on this item, go to his eBay auction.
Hey there horror fans ONE’S Customs back with the long anticipated “Jason Takes Manhattan” custom figure. Out of all the [...]
For many this was the end of an era in the franchise. The last of the Paramount movies that closed out an amazing run in the 1980’s that saw eight movies released in ten years. It had never been done before and, until recently with the Saw franchise, it looked like it may never be [...]
Martin is most known by horror genre fans as Wayne in Jason Takes Manhattan. Most fans don’t know that he is a very accomplished actor that has starred in numerous other movies and television shows. One of his most notable roles was Nick Boyle in the MGM series Poltergeist: The Legacy. Most of Martin’s roles [...]
Mario sent me these photos of a cardboard standee he bought from a video store a while back where he lives in Germany. The interesting thing we noticed is that the hockey mask shown is from Jason Lives and not Jason Takes Manhattan. Anyway, I have never seen anything like this before for the movie. [...]
Alex Diakun is a longtime veteran in acting as his resume spans four decades, being involved heavily in television and the occasional motion picture. He has appeared in such motion pictures as “The Journey of Natty Gann”, the 2001 slasher “Valentine”, Agent Cody Bank, The X Files: I Want to Believe, and most recently the [...]
I haven’t seen too many foreign posters out there for Jason Takes Manhattan recently, but I came across this one and there isn’t anything different outside of the different language. However, I love the way “Martes 13″ looks on anything that is Friday the 13th. Also, I like that the subtitle is “Jason Invade Manhattan”.
I have been reading that alot of people are passing on buying the new DVD’s for Jason Takes Manhattan and The New Blood as they are waiting for either the Blu-Ray release or the ever impending newer box set release. For those of you that fall into this category and haven’t seen these exteneded scenes [...]
I finally got a chance to watch New York Has a New Problem- The Making of Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan. This making of featurette on the new Deluxe Edition of the film is actually very informative. I think that I liked this featurette mainly because Jason Takes Manhattan has not received [...]
Bloody Disgusting posted some great information about the new DVD releases yesterday. They were invited to a lunch to celebrate the release and were joined by Kane Hodder, John Carl Buechler (writer/director of The New Blood), and VC Dupree (Julius from Jason Takes Manhattan) as well as Daniel Farrands and his editor Andrew Kasch. They [...]
Tony posted a great interview he conducted with Wickedbeard this past August 15th and within the post there were some great pics of Wickedbeard in full costume. Today, I found some pics of him in full Jason Takes Manhattan gear (which he proclaims to be his favorite) and wanted to share with everyone. Is that Kane Hodder [...]
