I wouldn’t go as far as to say that this kid is disfigured but he definetly has some features that are different. Everyone is shaped differently and his facial features are a little unusually different from the average child. His eyes mostly. None of this is meant to be mean but he does have the perfect visual/physical features for a young Jason Vorhees. Excellent choice for the part in my book! Probably going to be the best young Jason we’ve seen yet!

I think it’s more realistic if Jason is just a human being in the remake, who just happens to be a mongoloid.
it’s much more scary too. In part 6 as a zombie, he isn’t very scary anymore, so to make the new movie a bit more serious and sicker, that would be my opinion, but hey, I’m not a director. It worked on Michael Myers, why not on Jason?
Oh, and the music, I hope the music is again done by Manfredini, because he horrified me while watching the first 5 Friday’s.

oh and I liked it when Jason was human in 1,2,3 (i havnt seen part 4 in a while but he is alive right?)

I think the idea of a Friday the 13th film where Jason is actually human should be pretty neat. I was tired of them inventing a new way for him to come back from the dead every film.

Movie sounds interesting. I tried to watch a few of the Friday the 13ths when Jason Voorhees was at Universal Orlando for HHN 17 (I work there). They seem creepy. I also tried Texas Chainsaw Masscre and Freddy Kruegger but I think I liked the Friday the 13ths better.

Bloody Disgusting appears to have a financial relationship with Platinum Dunes — and guarantees positive “buzz” about their films. For instance, they gave “Texas Chainsaw: The Beginning” a rave review. The film was terrible. They’re the most popular site, but they sacrifice their integrity for Dunes. In return, they get exclusive news and probably advertising money. Maybe a job in the film industry someday too.

I’m very excited about all the news rolling out about the Friday the 13th films. It kind of sucks that we don’t get any dibs on it, I agree. But as a fan, I always get stoked during the time period before the films release. Pictures, behind the scenes stories etc start rolling out. It’s exciting.

I agree. Platinum Dunes should be bringing the news to the fans (i.e. the official F13 site) and not a general horror site like Bloody Disgusting.

I think that it gives an unfair advantage to them in terms of reporting the news as they have first hand knowledge of Friday the 13th as soon as it is posted on their webserver.

I don’t mean to complain, because BD is a good horror news website, but I have visited this website for news on everything Friday since before Jason X was even announced and don’t want the website to get upstaged in this very exciting time for us Friday fans.

I’ve been in negotiations with the studio for weeks regarding exclusive interviews. Several of the cast agreed but then suddenly they weren’t allowed to. It seems Platinum Dunes won’t allow them to do press yet. God knows how BD managed to get that blog with the studio but there are better sites they could have teamed with

Too bad Platinum Dunes didn’t partner with Friday The 13th films to host their website. Then this would be the one stop shop for everything Jason. Now this website has to compete with Bloody-Disgusting for all current news that is released. That is a shame.
