What about the 2 guys fixing the car in the leather jackets? they were introduced purely to be killed.. same as seeing the van driver return and his slutty girlfriend at the diner..

I always thought they were blue because I always heard they were blue, But I just watched it again this past week and the Only scene where the coveralls look blue is the scene where Roy is first seen in the doorway by Reggie and the blonde, Every other scene they look green to me.

A New Beginning doesn't fit in with the rest of the series, what happened to Tommy possibly going to kill Pam at the end of this film? Was it a dream sequence? Did he get moved to an institution? All these questions don't really get answered.

Hey everyone! Just joined this forum as I've always been a huge Friday the 13th junkie. I also have a request, does anyone happen to have a recording of Friday the 13th Part 5 from USA Network? I ask because I've always been a collector of TV versions of these movies and I have a blast looking at how all the different TV networks would cut certain stuff out. Strange interest I know, but I've always been a fan of when these movies would be broadcast on TV in marathons. After all, that is how I was introduced to this series. USA Network was always the best in terms of TV marathons IMO. I'll never forget Rhonda Shear & USA UP All Night!! They were also pretty liberal in what they would cut out from what I can remember and would sometimes show alternate scenes made for television.

I have recordings of Parts 1, 2, 3, 7 & 8 from USA Network. I also have TV versions from TNT, AMC, TNN/Spike tv. However, I am desperately seeking a USA airing of Part 5. Even portions would be cool, I would gladly compensate for time/postage/price of a dvd-r/vhs copy. If someone does happen to have a tape of this but isn't able to make a vhs/dvd copy you can send me the original tape and I can make a copy myself and send back along with compensation.

I'm a fan of part 5 as well, yes I hated that Jason wasn't in it, but I looked at this way, at least Jason was thought of as the killer, unlike Halloween III, where Michael Myers doesn't even exist in that films storyline (albeit the trailer of Halloween shown on a television).

Hating this movie because Jason isn't in it is liking hating Guess Who because you guessed wrong. I guess some people like their movies to be predictable.

I think it's great to see someone else other then Jason being the killer, THAT is great film making.

Of course they have some memorable death scenes.

Eddie - Leather Strap across etes
Vinnie - Road Flare In Mouth

It's all fun with this one, but it doesn't have to be taken seriously because this qualifies as a sequel so much in many ways I truly cannot explain.

My favorite part is probably the scene where Violet is dancing to His Eyes by Pseudo Echo. I like how it looks when Roy comes in with the machete downwards... Too bad we can't see how that scene originally ended up... or can we? I've seen a pictue of Violet with blood all over her pants.

Friday the 13th part 5 A New Beginning has cool kills even know it was not was Jason as the killer. I find this one very enjoyble to watch & it's not even a bad movie to watch.
