or maybe it was her mother, and Jason cut the wires.. but how did he know her adress? why did he put his mother's head in a fridge? and why did he pick up a steaming pot from the cooker? to cook the cat for dinner? When I first saw the movie, it seemed clear that is why he grabbed the kettle, and the camera was on the cat, he would kill it, but off screen because it would be too cruel to see it on screen.. and he does kill and eat a dog later on the movie so it makes damn sense..

I can answer that for you. In both the script and the novelisation, Alice had returned to Crystal Lake in order to try and confront her trauma after 'that night'. Jason observed and followed her...

Lot of people get calls like that here in the UK & it is comman & they just hung up. So that call in Friday the 13th part 2 I see no different just a hung up prank to be honest.

I think it's very possible that Jason did call her to make sure she was home. All that's missing is a scene with him in a phone booth flipping through the yellow pages.

Seems odd for Jason to look up her phone number just to call her. Though he is shown to do some things for the sake of scaring a victim, this didn't add up to being Jason at all.

Why did he bother bringing his mother's head along? Surely he had a fridge at home to keep it in. Wonder how he managed to transport that across country.

HaHa... I always laughed at that. Maybe he didn't need the water. Jason always dips his "teabag" dry. She did kill mommy after all....take that Alice.

Funny to think that Jason would consider such things. I doubt Kane Hodder's Jason would have cared about a kettle whistle. He probably would just have teleported out of there.

Ah! Very good suggestion witheredcarnation! I ever thought of it that much, but it is a suburb-type area and people walk by frequently in those type neighborhoods. Very true. This would have given him time to escape and never be caught.....although I have never ever understood how he found out where she lived.

I don't know how loud her tea kettle is, but I always thought it might've been something a passer-by or a close neighbor could've heard from outside the house, and that Jason removed it so no one would hear it whistling and come to investigate before he could get clear of the murder scene.

HAHAHA! Ive always wondered that too. Jason does seem to, from time to time, make some pretty remarkably kind-hearted gestures.....but the tea thing is top class. Maybe the noise was hurting his ears?
