I also happen, just by coincidence, to live in the same place the original Friday-the-13th was filmed. My avatar is the gate to the cemetery that's seen in the background of one of the opening scenes. It's only a few-hundred feet from my house. There are a lot of little out-of-the-way places I've found that were locations for the original film. I don't know if any one else is interested in this kind of stuff but if you are feel free to ask any questions. And if anyone ever wants to do a Friday-the-13th themed visit to the locations in the film let me know and I'll make a little map for you. There are places and things not many non-locals really know about, like the lake where many scenes - including where Jason pops up at the end and pulls her into the water - were filmed. Peace.
