Yeah, the guy just randomly walked into his house and killed him. Makes the scene in TCM2 where he encounters Chop Top very disturbing for me to watch now. Lou was scheduled to be at the Cinema Wasteland convention that weekend, I think his flight out was the next day, so if the timing had just been off by some hours his house would've been empty when the killer showed up.

I met Lou at Cinema Wasteland's TCM2 reunion show in October '06, he was a really nice, cool, funny guy.

Lou was a great actor and he will be forever missed. I heard that the murderer is currently serving a life sentence. Here's hoping that he stays locked up for the rest of his life so he can't harm anybody else.

I remember hearing about this around when it happened. Very tragic and sad. The murderer got a life sentence, I believe.

Lou seemed like a cool dude and LG was a rad character in TCM 2.

I'm sure everybody remembers 'LG" from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. He was portrayed by Texan actor Lou Perryman. He was murdered in 2024 and I am just now finding out about it. I guess fangoria was the only ones that picked it up, but I seriously didn't know he died until now! He was killed by a man suffering from bipolar disorder, and was off his meds and had been drinking.

Anyways, just thought I'd pass this along!
