As long as it doesn't resemble the friday "remake"- still gagging at that one.. underground tunnels.. fuck!!!.. was so furious at that shit. almost as bad as texas chainsaw 2.. (almost). If this will come to reality.. lets hope it stays true to the real friday franchise.

How about a gang of bikers who set out on a dangerous hunt deep in the forest to kill Jason and bring his head back... and they are all risking their lives because they are crazy and hardass.

I (finally) met Sean Cunningham at Monster Mania Con in Baltimore last week and asked him whats going on with the next film. He said they're shooting for A Friday the 13th in 2024 release. Could be January (not likely), April or July. I haven't heard much about a script or any casting so it sounds like a long shot for next year. Any one else have any info on the next one?

An un-named, unseen wealthy, well connected foreign investor buys Camp Crystal Lake for pennies on the dollar, but has no intention of renovating or rebuilding for profit. He brings in a team of people from eastern Europe who turn out to be organised criminals under the guise of a film crew (Which Interpol is persueing). They plant hidden cameras everywhere. They turn Crystal lake into what they dont realise it already is... Using hot women who are illegally trafficked in, they begin making snuff films, but when some locals decide to crash in for some R&R everybody finds themselves the unlucky recipients of Jason Voorhees wrath... with every moment all ending up being taped by the fogreign investor who intends to sell it on the black market for top dollar... "Snuff Said"...

It would be cool if the foreign investor turned out to be played by Robert Englund lol...

We only got to see small display of Jason's strength in the reboot, but I would find it interesting to see Jason take on a seasoned MMA fighter in a sequel. We seen him take on a someone with boxing experience in the original series, so why not take it to the next level ?

Well techniucally there should be massive blood trails anytime jason kills someone and moves the body.
The amount of blood loss in horror flicks is nothing compared to reality.
There should be pools of it and very obvious trails.
As for the tunnels, part if the point of the reboot was to take Jason back to basics. A man in the woods, not a supernatural monster.

Personally I would love to see Jason doing his work in the snow. But I could see it only being snow covered for a scene or two only because...well this would have to be looked at from a logical stand point and yes I know movies are from logical, but still I think that if Jason were to drag the bodies threw the snow it would create blood trails... now obviously blood trails would lead whom ever was stupid enough to follow them directly to Jason. Although if they picked up from the last film he would still have the series of underground tunnels (btw that was the stupidest idea ever, it turned this larger than life iconic serial killer into what seems to be a mortal man) which would technicaly cause a break in the trail of blood because the snow wouldn't be inside the tunnels there for it would be harder to notice the blood. Over all as much as we would love to see the "winter" camp crystal lake come to the big screen I could only see it happening for a short few scenes or perhaps a dream sequence involving his dad...that would be a good idea.

Whatever your stance, it is beyond a doubt that the next film WILL be the 13th film of the Friday the 13th cinematic *franchise*, whatever continuity/reboot issues.
