It was the very first Jason movie I had ever seen, I was a little kid back in the late 80′s and I remember very vividly watching this and just being enamored and on a roller coaster. this is really a great slasher flick and in my opinion, it lives up to the original in its delivery and essence. a lot of people hate it because its a Pseudo Jason, oh well, I liked that idea. it does for me today what it did when I first saw it when I was five years old. to me A New Beginning and Jason Lives are the greatest out of all of them, but this of course is just my opinion.

I’m not positive they are going with a Friday the 13th theme but the show does start on a Friday the 13th!

Plus it’s Monster-Mania’s 30th show….ties into the 30th anniversary of FT13:5 nicely, dont you think?!
