-
- At the end of Part 2, Jason jumps through the window and grabs Ginny and
still has the machete sticking out of his shoulder. When they recap the end of
Part 2 in Part 3 after Ginny and Paul walk out of the room there is a new shot
showing Jason (still lying on the floor), pull the
machete out of his arm and drag himself off camera.
-
- Jason's appearance has drastically changed from Part 2
to Part 3. He no longer has long hair or a beard, and it is supposed to be the next day.
- EXPLANATION - We never actually see Jason in Part 2 without the sack on his
head except when he bursts through the window. The end sequence with Ginny is
assumed to be a dream or hallucination, and therefore it was Ginny's imagination.
(When in reality the filmmakers just wanted to give himn a different look.)
-
- At the beginning, when Edna sees Jason in the backyard, he has no
resemblance at all to Harold. Harold is short, fat and balding. Jason is
about 6'4 and weighs a good 250. There is no way that she could mistake
Jason for him.
-
- Jason has no apparent wound where he was knifed in the shoulder the day
before. No blood seeps through from the large gash that is supposed to be there.
-
- When Harold points the clothesline pole at the camera, you can clearly see that
he is looking directly at the camera to make sure the pole doesn’t touch it.
-
- After yelling at Harold, Edna shuts the window and the bottom of the
curtain gets stuck under the window. In the next shot, the curtain is no longer
caught in the window but is hanging inside.
-
- Harold is obviously sitting on the toilet lid when he is in the bathroom.
-
- When Harold is stabbed with a cleaver by Jason, you can see the blood go all the way
down to his belly, but when Jason pushes him to the floor there's only blood around the cleaver.
-
- When the group first pulls up in the van outside of Vera's house, you can see the reflection of the microphone on the van in the upper right hand corner right before Chris gets out.
-
- When Chili is handing Andy the joint, the way she is holding it changes
from shot to shot.
-
- Right before Chris stops the van to avoid hitting Abel you can see that
no one is in the back of the van.
-
- When they arrive at the lake and get out of the van, the long shot from the passenger's
side shows Chris getting out and slamming her door, but then the next shot from the driver's
side shows her getting out and slamming the door again.
-
- When Shelly throws the wallet to Vera in the store he is wearing a watch,
but that is the only shot in which he has a watch on.
- [Sent in by Larry Zerner, the actor who played Shelly!]
-
- After Ali smashes the windshield, you can see the Olympia beer truck behind him is parked parallel with the road. But when Shelly turns the car around and drives back at him, the truck is now diagonal to the road.
-
- When Andy is playing with his yo-yo, he lets it drop down and smack
Debbie on the nose. She replies, "Woah, that was close!" when he actually
did hit her!
-
- When Debbie's sunbathing on the front lawn before Shelly and Vera
come back she isn't wearing shoes, but when she gets up and goes to go the van
she's wearing them.
-
- After Shelly and Vera return from the store and Rick and Chris get start to get into the car, the reflection of a crew member can clearly be seen in the rear driver's side window. [Widescreen version only]
-
- When Fox gets killed in the barn and then Loco
goes up the ladder to investigate where she got to, he would have to pass
right by her body when she is hanging there. Because when he turns around,
she is nailed right to the board directly behind him.
-
- Also when Loco sees Fox with the pitchfork in her neck, if you look closely
you will see the device wrapped around her left leg that is supporting her.
-
- Jason approaches Loco with a pitchfork with five prongs,
but the pitchfork that enters Loco's stomach has only four prongs.
-
- Also, when Jason moves to spear Loco with the pitchfork, the prongs are curved
down. But when it goes through him, the prongs are suddenly pointing upward.
-
- When Ali gets bludgeoned by Jason, he was getting his right arm smashed,
but when he comes back there is no blood on him and he has his limbs intact.
-
- When Vera is looking at Shelly's wallet, the film noticeably slows down
so you can see the picture of him and his mother.
-
- Why is it that when Vera drops Shelly's wallet right in front of the dock,
she walks several feet away to the shore and the wallet has mysteriously arrived
there before her?
-
- When Shelly attacked Vera while she was sitting on the dock, he pulled
off her right shoe. When Vera walks to the edge of the water to retrieve
Shelly's wallet, she has on both her shoes again.
-
- When Chris has a flashback of being attacked by Jason, he appears to be wearing
the clothes that he stole from the clothesline at the beginning of the film, when
the attack happened two years prior.
-
- When Andy is killed, the shot from below shows his head hitting the ground,
but in the next shot he is still up on his hands and then falls.
-
- Also, there is no blood on the carpet or floor from Andy, and how was
Jason able to get his body up into the rafters without leaving any blood in the room or on the hammock?
-
- When Debbie goes into the shower, she still has her necklace on. But
when she comes out of the bathroom, it is no longer there.
-
- Also it can be seen through the clear plastic shower curtain that the
actress playing Debbie is actually wearing some white underwear while she is in the shower.
-
- When Chuck is walking down the stairs in the basement to check the fuses you
can see the mic shadow on his shirt.
-
- When Chris and Rick are returning to the cabin, they mention about how
strong the wind has got as it blows all around them, but in the reverse shot
of the building the trees are perfectly still.
-
- When Chris discovers the bathtub full of water, she
picks up what appears to be Chili's blue sweatshirt with blood on it. So where
did Jason hide Chili's naked body then?
-
- When Rick's body gets thrown through the window, a small piece of glass lands
on the side of his face then slides down his cheek. In the next shot of his body,
the piece of glass is gone.
-
- Chris had stabbed all the way through Jason's left hand. But when he reaches through
the driver's side window, blood can only be seen on the back of his hand and his palm is
completely clean and undamaged.
-
- When Chris is being choked by Jason in the van, the window starts off all the way down
and then Chris turns the handle one full circle. In the next shot it is rolled up all
the way.
-
- When Chris spots the axe in the barn, it is resting on some type of metal object.
In the shot where she goes to pick it up, it is lying on the ground.
-
- The wires controlling the snake, harpoon, eye, and the knife Jason throws
at Chris are all visible when they come at you on the screen.
-
- At the end of Part 2 Jason was unmasked, showing long hair and heavy eyebrows.
In Part 3 he's unmasked again, but he looks totally different! He has some hair but is mostly bald.
His face looks horrible, as his eyes don't line up, his skin is grayish, etc.
Part 3 was supposed to have happened the day after 2, and yet he is now bald and his features are even
more distorted.
