At the end of Part VI, Jason has the gloves on when he is underwater. But in Part VII it shows the parts from the last movie, you see him with the gloves on, then with the gloves off. Jason also got a belt from the guy playing paintball in Part VI, but he doesn't have it in Part VII. part 6 Jason is wearing a green jacket/shirt with gray pants. However, in part VII he is wearing a dark blue boiler suit! EXPLANATION - The belt and gloves were cheap and rotted off in the lake. The bullet hole that Sheriff Garris shot above Jason's eye in Part 6 is missing from the mask throughout the movie. When the dock collapses under Tina's dad, one of the logs hits the camera under water. At the beginning, they show a glimpse of the camp and the sign says Camp Crystal Lake, but in Part VI it was called Camp Forest Green! EXPLANATION - They decided to capitalize on the notoriety of Jason Voorhees and changed the name back. When Michael's girlfriend, Jane, is waiting around for him to return from going to the bathroom, the cooler in her hands disappears in the reverse shot of Jason coming up behind her. Also, Jane is shown standing before a tree, but when Jason approaches her there is no tree nearby. When Judy and her boyfriend are camping, after Judy's boyfriend is killed and Jason makes his way back to the tent, they use a shot of Rob's tent from Part 4. The tent from Final Chapter is round while the tent from VII is more boxy. After Maddy goes upstairs and puts her makeup on, she goes back out the same door (on the second floor) that she entered and she is suddenly outside in the next shot! And why did she go outside to find David? In Dr Crews's office, there is a video monitor and VCR on his desk throughout most of the movie, but when Tina is looking at her Dad's picture on the wall it is gone. There is also a large model train on the desk, in some scenes but not in others. Wouldn't Kate have seen Jason through the back windows if he was sneaking around the van? She was looking in that direction and it appears that Jason grabs Ben from right behind the van. Right before David leaves Robin in bed, his hand changes position from one shot to the next. First it's somewhere near his side then it's on the top end of the cover near Robin. When David raids the refrigerator, the shot from behind shows Jason's shadow coming toward him. What's strange is that in the shadow Jason was walking very swiftly and his legs were stiff (like a penguin), but in the next shot he is walking perfectly normal, knees bending and all. Just before Robin is killed, she walks from one room to another, and if you watch the wall you'll notice the cameraman's shadow right before she knocks and says, "Maddy?" When Jason kills Robin he throws her out the window with her back to it, but when it shows the shot from outside she flies out face first. When Robin is thrown out the window glass surrounds her, yet when she lands no glass falls on the ground. When Tina's mom turns on the VCR to watch Dr. Crews's tapes, the reflection on her face is just static, and it remains static once the tape supposedly has started playing. After Jason axes Melissa in the head, he grabs her and pulls her toward him. You can see the stuntwoman gingerly put her arm around Jason's waist to keep from falling when Melissa would have been dead or unconscious with the axe poking out of her brain. After Jason kills Melissa with the axe, if you look at his mask you can see the black fabric covering the eye hole to disguise Kane Hodder's real eyes. At the top of the stairs, Tina makes the light fixture swing from the ceiling and smash into Jason's face. In the first shot, the light bulb is still intact and lit up, but in the next shot with Jason falling through the stairs the bulb is not lit up. When Tina drops the porch on Jason, it is obviously not Lar Park Lincoln. You can tell because "Tina's" hair looks like a smooth blonde wig. When Tina uses her psychic power to hang Jason and then open up the floor, the amount of debris surrounding the hole changes as well as the size of the hole. Also, when Jason is hanging there with the wire, you can see Kane Hodder's teeth and beard through the makeup. When Jason is in the basement battling with Tina, the height of the ceiling seems to change. How did Jason escape the exploding house and get onto the dock so quickly without being noticed by Tina or Nick? When Jason grabs Tina and throws her on the deck, you can tell when it cuts to the stunt actress as the hair is different. Just after Jason knocks out Nick and Tina begins calling up her father, in the shot at the end of the dock you can see a huge black curtain underneath the dock hiding the actor. Why is John Shepard still in the lake after so many years? And why isn't he decomposed? EXPLANATION - Tina's power has become so strong, she is able to manifest the physical form of her father's spirit to save her. At the end when the fireman (who was actually John Carl Buechler) picks up the pieces of the hockey mask, there are no straps or spots where the straps would have been.
