Biography: Not much biographical information is known about David Kopp. He was born in Calgary, Canada, and first appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. He has continued to get small parts on television since then. His character, 'Blake', in Freddy vs. Jason was named after our webmaster, Blake Washer.

"Being from Calgary, David is a huge Calgary Flames fan. He is a director of independant films, he has written a novel and a few screenplays and still finds time to act. He also loves carpentry, Elvis, sushi and lasagna. He has one older sister who is a naturopathic doctor. David has spent much time in L.A. filming but now resides in Vancouver, B.C."

Update: "I got started in acting when I was eighteen. I was doing local modeling in Calgary and we did a talent contest. My agent pushed me into the acting. I didn't want to do it but then I won a bunch of awards for it. The next year we went to Vancouver for something called Faces West and a few agents scouted me out. They told me to come out to Vancouver and give it a shot.

I had just dropped out of college, broke up with my girlfriend, realized I hadn't the grades for university, was working in a grimy warehouse and thought, 'My life is shit. Might as well give it a shot.'

The rest is history. Was in Vancouver five and a half years, did five movies and seventeen TV shows. A pilot (That Was Then) got picked up so I moved to LA, flew back for Freddy vs. Jason and threw it down in the big show for two years. Signed a few contracts, couldn't get Visas. What can you do? Loved LA but ran out of money.

I'm currently living back in Calgary with my parents. I'm heading back to Vancouver in Jan to finally live in the same city as my sweetheart. We've been doing long distance two years.

I'll be getting back into the acting scene then right when the Canadian dollar is too high to encourage US production and Bush just gave Hollywood tax breaks. Might not be anything there when I return but thems the breaks. I'm happy."
