Biography: "Kimmell, whose credits include Lone Wolf McQuade and a good deal of episodic television, gets downright ugly honest as she chronicles the reasons why she should have been the last choice to star in a Jason hackathon.
'I'm not a big fan of R-rated movies,' she says. 'I believe movies should be doing a better job of standing up for good values and morals. I'm also not too fond of onscreen sex.'
Following her Friday outing and the previously mentioned Chuck Norris chop-chop, Kimmell shifted her career to low-profile, concentrating mainly on TV guest shots and dealing with 'less emotional turmoil.'" - Fangoria #62 (March, 1987)
Update: "Dana is currently residing in California with her husband and kids. A Mormon, she is very much into her Christian lifestyle, and has recently appeared in a "family values, get your life in order" commercial that was aired in California. Besides the commercial, she hasn't done any other sort of acting since 1990. However, Dana is aware of how much her fans miss her, and has, according to a fan who contacted NBC, decided to return to the acting world, and make some appearences on some of their shows this fall." - Thanks to Reid Taylor

Quote: "I had no clue what Friday the 13th was. Growing up, I always loved scary movies, but I was not familiar with these. I'd heard of them, but I'd never seen any of them. Once I got the part, Steve Miner sent me home with tapes of the first two, just to see what I had gotten myself into. And they were already shooting. So I read through the script and was on set in a day or two. It was really a quick thing. So there wasn't a lot of discussion until we kind of got into the actual shooting.
It's funny, but apparently I did an interview for Fangoria magazine a few years ago where I talked about all these changes I requested in the movie. I honestly don't even remember giving that interview. But I do remember having a meeting with Frank Mancuso, Jr. They had a couple scenes in there about how Rick and Chris had stayed out all night, and there was a line that they had made love that night. I said to Frank and Steve Miner, 'I'd be a lot more comfortable if we didn't talk about that.' And they said, 'Just do whatever you want,' and rearranged it. I knew this series has a lot of young followers. I just thought it was good not to promote that kind of thing so much. And nobody notices." - pg. 80, Crystal Lake Memories
