Laurel Lodge - "This 2-level structure was built in 1915, originally as a hunting lodge and was named the 'Sassacus Hunting Lodge' in 1936. Jack Baum was the founder. In April of 1955, the lodge was renamed the 'Bromica Lodge.'" Note: This is a private residential property, so please do not disturb the owners and be courteous and respectful of the area.
In early 2024, the owners of the property tried to sell the house and have it removed. It is unknown whether a buyer was found or if the house has been torn down recently or not.
