Leatherface Goes To Hell With Friday Director

Posted 30 Oct 2026 in The Saga

When I first read this news, my jaw hit the floor. The man that helped bring my second favorite Friday the 13th film to the screen is now getting a crack at Leatherface. Shock Till You Drop and Bloody Disgusting are now reporting that Jason Goes To Hell Director Adam Marcus is preparing to enter the realm of the Hewitt madness and the infamous Leatherface. The title of the new film is Leatherface 3D, so naturally this would not seem to be anything to do with the Hewitt family.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3 used the name Leatherface as the main title to sell that picture back in 1989 and now that tactic is being used again. What’s more is that Adam Marcus co-wrote the screenplay for the new Leatherface film with Debra Sullivan and according to the aforementioned websites, this new movie takes place immediately after Tobe Hooper’s 1974 film and then flash forwards 35 years later. For Chainsaw fans, this must be very thrilling news. Congratulations go out to Adam Marcus for getting the opportunity to direct another iconic screen villain!

Friday Conversation: Tina’s Body At The House Entrance

Posted 29 Oct 2026 in The Saga

Survivors or Final Girls always end up finding the dead bodies of their friends towards the end of Friday the 13th films. Finding these bodies really is one of the foundations of the franchise as well as any good slasher movie. Every film in the Friday series has these “discovery” moments and they really are a lot of fun to witness the character’s reaction as well as see the aftermath of a certain character’s death.

Sometimes, however, the discovery of a body just does not make any sense. This can be from a logistical standpoint of where a body is placed to how a body can be triggered to fall or appear at just the right moment when a final character is passing by. Such a moment happens in Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. After Rob is attacked in the basement of the party house, Trish runs up the stairs of the basement and tries to run out the front door. Her attempt is thwarted by the discovery of party twin Tina’s dead body at the foot of the doorway outside.

The question is this, how did Jason move Tina’s body to the doorway outside of the house, when Trish and Rob walked through the doorway to enter the house minutes before and Jason was in the basement turning the power off to the house and waiting for Rob to come downstairs?

Behind The Scenes: Young Jason, Friday the 13th 1980

Posted 29 Oct 2026 in The Saga

Young Jason Voorhees’ leap from beneath the watery depths of Crystal Lake to drag Alice Hardy out of the canoe and into the frozen lake is indeed iconic and legendary in the horror genre. It is amazing to see one scene, that approximately lasts 5 seconds, live on in the hearts and minds of fans across the world. It is indeed the one scene everyone points to say that Jason really was in the first film when most people say he was never in the 1980 stalk and slash thriller.

Over the years, numerous images from the filming of Friday the 13th 1980 have surfaced relating to Ari Lehman portraying Jason in that now infamous scene. However, Ari recently started a new Facebook account and added some new and truly awesome photos from the filming of his scene. Below are a taste of the photos is has provided the fans. Some are different angles of images viewed previsouly, but others may never have been witnessed before. Also, there is a very creepy illustration of the young Jason character at the very bottom that would be an awesome piece to own for a fans collection!

Rare Double Impalement Photo From Part 2

Posted 29 Oct 2026 in The Saga

This image was sold at the Monster Mania convention back in August by Bill Randolph (Jeff). The photo was signed by Bill and Marta Kober (Sandra) at a very rare occasion when both actors were together. This photograph is from an original polaroid taken on the set of Friday the 13th Part 2! Bill Randolph found the polaroid while going through old photographs and decided to reproduce it to sell at shows. Most people have seen various shots of the staging of this scene and it is unfortunate that this kill was never seen in full view on screen. However, this indeed is a different angle of the kill and it always cool to see new images from the production of the films!

Behind The Scenes: Jason Goes To Hell Sculpt

Posted 28 Oct 2026 in The Saga

There is a lot of Jason Goes To Hell posts the last couple of days. I guess that is just the way info flows these days. So, everyone is aware of the end scene of of the film where the demons drag Jason down to hell. We have discussed this in a number of stories within the last year or so where K.N.B. effects created a model with puppets to portray the final scene’s action.

Below we have some great photos to share of the Jason puppet being sculpted. There is an enormous amount of detail given to the figure which is too bad as it was never seen on film. Compare the sculpt with the image of Kane in the body suit and see how close the suit and sculpt appear to be in detail.

The sculpt photos below were posted at the TGIF13 forum and are a great window into the production of the film. Enjoy and share your thoughts!

Posted 28 Oct 2026 in Merchandise

We haven’t posted any marketing material blogs around here for a while now, so why not get into the swing of things with this awesome Friday the 13th Part 3 Thai poster. It is entirely possible that a good number of our visitors have seen this poster before, but since we get new visitors on a regular basis and other may have never seen this before, it does seem relevant to showcase this great poster.

Previously, the Thai poster for Friday the 13th 1980 was posted on our website and that is also a beatuful work of art. This Part 3 poster does indeed give off the 3D vibe, but the best part is Chris hiding underneath the window as Jason takes a swipe through the window with his axe!

One of the callaborators, Ken McCabe has been nice enough to update us on the progress of these sculpts. His initial email explains the future plans of these custom figures.

I recently partnered up with a really close friend and we are going about this together 50/50 on the commissions and clothing etc.. We are planning to do EVERY JASON from a child up to the remake. Once these sculpts come to fruition and we get the proper bodies, accessories and props to create the perfect 1:6 scale figure we will be offering these for sale as either unpainted kits or fully painted figures. Kane Hodder and Darcy Demoss Bunk Together in ‘Room and Board’

Posted 27 Oct 2026 in The Saga

I have to say, there have been some odd actor parings in Hollywood and even stranger stories to go along with those pairings. When I saw the press release for this new horror movie, I was sort of shocked. Kane Hodder will be starring with fellow Friday the 13th alumn Darcy DeMoss (Nikki, Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part 6) as well as Burt Reynolds and Robert Patrick. That right there is an all star cast of Hollywood history between many different genres of film.

The film sounds wild and it looks as though it has the right cast to fit the bill. Read the release below and let us know what you think! Room & Board is written & directed by Julia Davis and co-written by Rob Neighbors and production should begin in Louisiana in early 2026.

Room and Board comes alive a La Hermitage, with pure blood pumping through its veins. It’s a horrifying tale, based on a true story. Take an intimate look inside of a popular bed and breakfast, owned by a deceptively attractive group of Russian women. The meat-cleaving matriarch of the family dies, leaving her bloody legacy to a gorgeous but conniving offspring.

Natasha, a dancing, singing, blade-wielding psychopath, leads the way to hell, along with her seductive and macabre daughters, Masha & Sasha. The cast of characters sashaying through this Room and Board is more colorful cast than a crimson-stained menu. Presidents and celebrities come by for a taste of sin.

Old rocking chair bound Grandpa is a constant fixture out on the porch, come rain or shine. The family is completed by Natasha’s adopted son, Moses – a shy African American child, who was adopted by the family after he was left on their doorstep. Moses has a best friend, Beau – a gator, who lives in an elongated doghouse outback and serves as a living garbage disposal.

Guests are lured to the establishment by rumors of the best steak in town. The family starts by serving their unsuspecting guests – and later serving them up on a plate. A mixture of zany, bizarre and camp characters make their way through this Louisiana retreat. The most annoying guests are the first to end up on the bloody menu.

Family secrets are bottled up and tensions run high in this lazy, sultry
southern town. A handsome fugitive on the run throws a monkey wrench into the family’s well-oiled killing machine. He steals the heart of a sexy sister, instead of letting her family take his.

The mad mixture of black comedy and horror erupts, as marauding beauties cook up a delight horror picture show. It’s full of twists and turns, complete with an unexpected ending that leaves the possibility of an expanding menu – and a sequel…”

Demon Macquette From Jason Goes To Hell

Posted 27 Oct 2026 in The Saga

Artist Jason Bakutis was involved in the production of Jason Goes To Hell in 1992 and during the process created a conceptual macquette of what the large Hell Demon would look like towards the end of the film. Eventually, the full size Hell Demon was jettisoned for the Hell Baby that eventually slithers its way into Diana Kimble. Below are a few pics of the deleted scene with the larger Hell Demon. These images will give you an idea of what the final product looked like.

Now below is Jason’s concept for the full size Hell Demon creature. He mentioned that an actor that was born with no legs was fitted into the demon suit that was born out of his concept. The photos below are creepy and more streamlined than the finished product and might have looked better in the film moreso than what made it into the deleted scene.
