Q: "How did you get the job of directing Jason Goes To Hell?"

"That's the question I always get asked while doing an interview. I grew up with Sean's son, Noel, and I was the coffee boy on set for the first Friday The 13th film. I was 13 in 1980, and it is very mysterious how 13 years later I would go from the coffee boy to the director. And to answer your question, it was actually Sean's idea to have me direct this picture. He called me up real late asking me if I wanted to direct the movie. I was shocked at first, and I told him immediately that I would love to." - Full interview at Burnout Central
