I'm not sure what's going on with New Line right now... they're keeping pretty quiet about their decision. I know that we have had an impact,and that makes me feel great. They will be taking the fans concerns into account, and how many other production companies can that be said about? Hey. I emailed New Line a couple days ago. I'm gonna email them again tomorrow. As for going to the theaters to see it, I will drag either my mom, dad, or one of my sisters to the theater and buy a ticket for EVERY SINGLE SHOWING. Yes, a 13-year-old watching Jason X countless times. I email New Line telling them how I like horror movies when I was like 2 or 3 (never knew about FT13 back then, only NOES) and how I used to hate horror movies until Spring Break. My friend has a FT13 site that I would explore for countless hours and I finally rented Part 8 (Part 8 was the first part I ever saw. It was on SciFi. Damn, did they cut alot of stuff. I also saw parts of Part 3 on October 13th, the same day I discovered her site from Angelfire) and watched it cdountless times and copied it onto a seperate tape. Then, on April 25th (my b-day!) I got Part's 1 & 2 for my birthday (along with X-Men. I relized then why everyone hates Part 8, lol) and have watched the 3 of them countless times (the order goes 1, 2, and X-Men). I am planning to get the other 7 (I don't want to own just a copy of Part 8) and I will watch them countless times. Also, I'm going to go around telling people at school about it. A lot of my friends think I'm nuts and obsessed with the whole thing because I have been sputtering about Jason X and all the others, along with writing a 25-page story that takes place here in Clifton Park, NY. I'm also writing a script for a FT13 related movie called "Friday the 13th Chronicles Part 1:The Return of Jason Voorhees", where I die in the first five minutes (yay! lol). But anyways, I figure if I bug all my friends enough they will tell me they will email New Line if I shut up. Anyways, JASON X 4-EVA!

Oh yeah, quick ?:is Crystal Lake located in Ohio or Conneticut? That friend, who knows the movies inside and out, says CT but other places say Ohio. Well, l8erz! :-)

we should stop e-mailing new line for august 17th and tell the to open it on a wendesday! if so it will have a 2 day edge over the other summer blockbuster's it's up against! tell them to open it august 15!!!! thats a great idea IMO!!!!! it will make at least a few million more a few days early because it won't be opening against anything!

They may be listening to our opinions but the clearly defined early option we have is August 17 on the dot. I'd like it earlier too but it doesn't look like an option. Maybe you could call new line.
"Jason X has made 90 million, making up for our other project Town and Country as well as paying for itself. We'd like to thank the anonymous individual who suggested August 15..." It could happen.
