Scoped out this rather excellent interview with Jeff Katz, encoring comic script duties for June’s sequel to Freddy Vs Jason Vs Ash, subtitled Nightmare Warriors.
This is for you hardcore collectors. Mario, owner of the Friday the 13th Museum, is selling one of the screen used Jason costumes from Freddy vs. Jason. The costume consists of four items: outer jacket, sweater, undershirt and pants. The costume does not include the hockey mask. The costume is signed by Ken Kirzinger.

A reminder to those who live in or near Indianapolis, HorrorHound’s weekend convention is this weekend March 27-29. The usual cast of Jason characters will be there, including Derek Mears, C.J. Graham, Ari Lehman, Warrington Gillette and Tom Savini. Also, Amy Steel will be there. She is really nice and loves to tell great stories [...]
Now that Friday the 13th is all but out of theatres, I thought we should all take a look at how the movie fared throughout the last 6 weeks. I know that we are all aware of how much the movie dropped off after opening weekend, but this movie still made a lot of money [...]
After a long needed vacation last week, I started looking for the Friday the 13th poster pictured to the left. Kane wrote about it in January, http://fridaythe13thfilms.com/blog/two-brand-new-friday-the-13th-posters/, and I cannot find this poster for sale anywhere. I looked at allposters, eBay, Amazon, etc. Can any of our readers help me out? It would be much appreciated.

MrMike posted news about this yesterday in the A Second Chance For Friday The 13th blog and now www.blu-ray.com posted the rumor as well. So, I decided to share with everyone who doesn’t know that it is rumored that Friday the 13th Part 2 and Part 3 will be released on Blu-Ray sometime in July. [...]
For the second month in a row (a rare happening), we have another Friday the 13th calendar date! That being said, what are you planning on doing on our second “holiday”? Are you going to hit the theater one more time to see the new film? Are you having a marathon in your home? Spill [...]
Back in 1993, author William Pattison, under the pen name Eric Morse, wrote four Friday the 13th novels to tie-in with New Line Cinema’s recently released Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. One of those stories, Mother’s Day, was adapted by independent filmmaker Cory Stevens, and now another one is currently in pre-production, [...]
In the 80’s the Friday The 13th films came under fire upon the release of almost every chapter. But there was also somewhat of a controversy in the UK over the computer game. Yes, “computer game” – did I stutter? Of course when people think of a playable Friday The 13th they automatically default their [...]
Just a reminder, if the new Friday The 13th is still playing in your area, why not grab some friends and go give it a re-appraisal? There’s something about seeing a movie a second time that tends to feel more relaxed and free of anticipatory pressure. Seeing it on the supposedly unlucky day helps, too [...]
I love listening to these guys, so I thought I would share the link to their feature “DeadPit on the road “. They usually do a video log of their trip to the theater before they view whichever horror movie is out at the time. They then review the movie afterwards. Since a couple of [...]
Yeah um, Jason and Freddy and Ash returning, that’s good and all, but what I was excited to hear about was our man the great Tommy Jarvis returning! Sure, it’s only in comic book form, but it’s a medium not to be discounted.
Before I begin, these are MY reasons why I think The Final Chapter is the best. I am not saying this is Ten Commeandments set in stone, this is law or else kind of remarks. Please read with an open mind. I am prepared to be lashed out at or, even better, agreed with.
Part 4 brought [...]
As I began reading this when I found it, I was almost salivating with excitement, till the timeline had me scratching my head, then realization dawned on me with an almighty “DOH!”
I found this remix video hilarious. Don’t set your standards high by expecting Scooby Vs Jason, this is Scooby Goes To Camp Crystal Lake. Big difference. Using Scooby Doo clips also serves to point out what an influence the cartoon has been on the slasher genre!
Friday the 13th has been in theaters for a couple of weeks now, but that doesn’t stop the awesome chances to win Jason loot! Collectors Quest and Mezco Toyz have partnered up to offer fans a chance to win not one, not two, but three Jason figures from their catalog! Up first is the ever [...]
Just a quick reminder to our readers that we have had a very popular Friday The 13th Email Service available for several years now. It’s completely free, and we have thousands of active users. I check regularly for any service downtime and have the ability to mass-email anything super-duper important. You can easily sign up [...]
Even though it is not finished, MMFX work on “The Final Chapter” Jason Mask looks so incredibly close to the mask in the movie that I am definitely going to be purchasing this when it is available for sale.
