Rare Italian “A New Beginning” Poster
For those of you that purchased the New Line House of Horrors, 2024 Friday the 13th calendar, this poster may look familiar. To everyone else, this is a rare Italian poster for Friday the 13th: A New Beginning. Now, we have seen the Turkish posted for this film and we found out that that poster art was taken from another slasher film from that era and Roy and the Friday the 13th titles were then added. This poster looks to be following a similar path.
I do not know for certain if this poster is original art or not, but I do like Jason with red eyes, busting through glass with a bloody chainsaw. I think many fans would take this poster over any thing that is created to market today’s horror movies! Another thing I am not sure of, who is Susan Ross? Looking at the poster, it headlines John Shepard and Susan Ross. I am assuming the creators of the poster meant Shavar Ross?

ummm….who is susan ross? is that supposed to be shavar “reggie the reckless” ross?

I get so tired of people associating Jason with a chainsaw. Isn’t this the only movie where a chainsaw is used anywhere near Jason/someone pretending to be Jason? The next closest thing I can think of is Clark Griswold trimming down the family Christmas tree while wearing a hockey mask…

If this is a reworked poster from another movie, then I believe it could be from one called \
“Pieces”, sorry,I didn’t fill in the word filter.
I really like this rare posters from the 80s. They just had a bunch of random things in them, especially the ones from foreign countries. The perfect example is Jason with the chainsaw, the closest thing he used to kill somebody that was reminiscent, of a chainsaw was the saw he used in part 7, to kill Dr.Crews.
