Sideshow Collectible Jason Voorhees Video Review
These were all released starting around 6 years ago and have become huge collectors items on the www. They can average around $150 a piece and maybe more if you have the exclusive version of the figure. Those exclusive versions had a limited run and included extra pieces in the package.
I did own the Part 2 Jason at one point as I got it as part of a trade for another item. I sold it eventually as I, personally, can’t see owning something that seems like a doll and doesn’t look as screen accurate as some of the 7 inch figures that have been released. He is missing the Freddy vs Jason in this video, but I think he has a seperate video for that figure.

I have all of the exclusive versions Part 3 (there wasn’t an exclusive version) and FvsJ aside. I love the SideShow figures I wish they would have completed the set.

He is the actor credited for the role so of course he should have signed it.
Why didn’t they finish the series? Waste of money because they arent screen accurate imo.
I have them all including the Pamela-figure. I loooove them and I prefer Sideshow over NECA. Sideshow is IMO more acdcurate then NECA (compare the TNB or FvsJ-versions).
Yes, the Prat 2 Sideshow 2 is way too off (wrong shirt collor). But what can you expect if you have Warrington Gilette, a guy who was Jason for 2 seconds in one scene, as the conultant on the figure.
I also have the 2 Mezco 12″ es. Unfortunaltey they don´t have as many points-of-movements as the sideshow-ones and they only have their shirts/coats as real clothes (all other stuff is plastic). The mask in for Remake-Jason also misses some holes in the forehead sectiion.
So to me Sideshow is still the best and I wish we could have gotten a Roy, TNB, Uberjason and youngjason figure.
I wanted to start collecting these because they are really sweet and even the packaging is awesome. But i quickly found out how expensive some of the rare ones are and my dreams were quickly squashed. Plus my OCD wouldn’t allow me to not collect every single special edition one which is even more money. I still check conentions for cheap ones though.

Sweet auto’d exclusive collection here. I need a couple more to complete my set of regular ones. These, along with the Mezco 7″ collection Jason’s are my favorites. Frustrating neither line has all of the versions of Jason. Would have loved a Mezco pt7 and Jason X.
Sure they’re not screen accurate, but would be a nice little collection to have 10,15,20 years down the road. He def. needs to get Ted White’s autograph though….Him & Betsy Palmer aren’t getting any younger.
I do agree that they are great collectibles and I can see why they appeal to everyone, but just not my thing, I guess. It is great to see some love given towards the franchise by big companies.
i dont like the dolls, i like the 7″ figures from mezco much better
okay here is my opinion, I like the collection, but the corners on the boxes look a little worn, that alone can reduce the value of the product, I am not an expert but I know that when collecting something you want to keep it in the best shape possible, I also think they should be displayed, there are display cases for things like that and I have to say if you want to buy them to have as keepsakes by all means display what you are passionate about, again the collection is neat but from what I can see in the video the corners on the boxes look a little worn and I know it can lower the value of the collectible.
Just watched the video, and some of the others he has, and wow. He has some serious money into his collection. Crazy stuff.
You’re right, Gabe. He has a lot of collectibles and I can only imagine the money invested. I tend to collect actual promotional materials and anything from production of the movies. That’s not cheap either.

I have all the sideshow Jason releases. Only have 2 or 3 exclusive figures though. I als have Freddy from FvsJ, Michael Myers, & Leatherface. Nice vid. When is the last time Ted White did a con anyways? I wonder if they’ll ever make pt.5 or pt.8 Jasons?
