Or Virginia
Or AUSTRALIA!!! goddamit all to hell. Sigh
Or Sweden. Damn.
or maryland
Or Kansas since I don’t live in Maryland anymore. But Kansas is a horror site all itself…
Or NY
Or central florida…
or lexington , kentucky
How bout Oklahoma, most of the above named states have had horror conventions come through, but not Oklahoma, if so they must of been really shitty. Not very many people around my part like the older horror style of the 80’s. They all like that modern day shit.
Ummmm guys if you want it organize it. Start out small and then over the years build it up. Make a plan and follow it and do the same thing every year. It doesn’t cost that much money to rent a theater and show one movie. Get everyone to dress up in a horror theme for the first one and make it fun. Things like these just seem to grow if you want it bad enough.
speaking up organizing stuff…. Theres Me, Ted, and Brian so far….any other michigan fans wanna try to rent a theatre to show a mini marathon before the remake so far????
speaking of** I meant to say… and I meant to say before the remake comes out…
I’ve been trying to get the website to come up, but am having no luck.
Could someone please tell me the price of tickets, both online and at the door? It’d be most appreciated.

Hey Brian and BigTdoe just wanted to say I am very commited to this theater rental for a marathon,I just have been really busy and will be for the next couple of weeks but then I will bust ass to find out different theaters pricing.
Just wanted to touch base and keep you up to date.
Nosferatu,
Haven’t you ever been to Cinema Wasteland in Strongsville (near Cleveland)? They have two shows a year, in October and April. This October, Betsy Palmer, Adrienne King, and Kane Hodder will be there. Also in attendance will be John Saxon, Lamberto Bava, Marilyn Chambers, exploitation producer David Friedman, and a bunch of other cool guests. Pre-reg for the whole weekend is just $30, and the guests are there and accessible the entire time! Check it out at http://www.cinemawasteland.com!
Hmm…this Cinema Wasteland sounds interesting. Thanks for telling me about it, guys. I’ll definitely check it out next year (can’t make it to the October one).
I bought and painted a hockey mask from Frightstuff, so hopefully I can get Kane to sign it.
Tony: Thanks for the ticket info! I really appreciate it.
Yeah, stuff has come up lately, especially fixing my car. I am very committed to the mini-marathon too, thanks for touching base. I will find out the price for Roseville Theater. I will keep you posted.
No problem on the ticket info. You can get a lot of info on the VIP party etc via occasional bulletins and blogs if you add the scarefest myspace page to your buddy list

If any of you guys are in the area, please spread the word So we can manage to make this event a huge success and get something like this around here more often. Get your tickets and tell your friends to get tickets. We really need something like this in our area so we don’t have to travel so far to go to something like this. These guys have really worked hard in making this happen.

To the person in Arizona:
The International Horror & Sci Fi Film Festival is held in Tempe, AZ in October. Visit the Web site for details: http://www.horrorscifi.com/. You can meet horror celebs and watch horror movies for four days.
Just a thought: You may not live in a town where horror conventions are held, but there may be a horror film festival.
