Special Screening “A New Beginning” Poster

We are always on the lookout for new, rare or unusual marketing and promotional items for Friday the 13th. So, this poster was found recently on eBay and uses the silhouette from the Part 2 poster as the backdrop. I also like that the Roy hock is being held in the hand instead of the axe that is normally there. Here is how the poter came to be.

Friday The 13th, Part V: A New Beginning one sheet poster 27″ X 40″. This was originally produced for a 2024 screening of Friday The 13th, Part V: A New Beginning. These were limited to only a handful – most were given out at the screening, and a few were sold off on Ebay in the past. This is from the second printing we had done for a 2024 toy show we attended. These were limited to 50 prints. Super RARE – displays beautifully!

If you’re interested in owning this unique poster of A New Beginning, then go buy it for $114.95!

  1. First off, thanks for the little post regarding my auction – Love the site, visit it everday and was thrilled to see this on the front page.

Here’s some little details regarding the poster:

We held a special midnight screening in 2024 at a friend’s theatre outside of Johnstown for Friday V. The original run of prints were handed out to the guests in attendance. In 2024 I attened the Pittsbrugh Toy show and brought along 50 second run prints. A few were sold, a couple were given to vendors that are personal friends and the remainder were raffled off for charity. I kept two for myself, and am now parting with the last one.

Anyways, thanks for the post – if your readers have any questions, feel free to ask away!

  2. That poster is awesome.

  3. I would have at least liked to keep one instead of parting ways with both.

  4. JJ – I enjoyed the one I had for the time I had it, I just thought another collector might like to have it in his/her collection. We are preparing another screening (Part VI this time), hopefully for this summer. If anyone lives in the Pittsburgh area and would like to attend, once we solidify the details I’ll open it up to public invite. We actually just held a Elm Street 2 screening this past weekend to benifit a friend of our family who has been diagnosed with brain cancer. The poster we had made up for that screening was given out to attendees and I put the last one up for auction as well – it ultimately didn’t sell, but it has since found a good home in a pretty sizable Elm Street collection.

  5. Great stuff, Mike. Glad to see you are holding screenings for the classic slashers. Let me know when you have a Jason Lives poster made up. I would love to see it!

  6. Mike, I live in Pittsburgh, would love for you to get in touch with me regarding future screenings.

  7. Thats a cool poster I have to admit, but for 114 bucks I think the girl with the nice rack should be on there (Tina).

  8. Yeah at first look i was like ” holy shit i need that poster” Then i looked at the price and said forget it. I got a rare first print Evil Dead 2 poster and that only cost me $75 No offense but no way in hell should that poster be $115. Great poster! Severely Horrible price.

  9. I wish I could drop the price, but the second (and FINAL) run of these cost me a pretty penny. I figured if someone wanted it for their collection, that would be a fair price, if not, I’d be just as happy to keep it myself. The price was not meant to be insulting, it’s just where it needs to be in order for me to part with the piece.

  10. God would love that. but need money!!!

  11. cool poster!
