Biography: "Kerry Noonan, who played 'Paula' in Friday The 13th Part VI:Jason Lives, was more of a television actress than a film actress. Her only other film role was the teen comedy Hot Moves (1984), where, unlike most of the female cast members, Kerry kept her clothes on. She was very active though, guest-starring on Taxi (1982), Family Ties (1983), St. Elsewhere (1983), The Facts Of Life (1985), Misfits Of Science (1985), Murder She Wrote (1985), The Twilight Zone (1985) and Mr. Belvedere (1986). She also starred in the pilot movie for the television series A Year In The Life (1986).
After a few years, Kerry returned in 1990 in the cable movie Nightmare On The 13th Floor; two episodes of Knots Landing; and in a recurring role as 'Nellie' on China Beach. After that, not much is known. She played 'Jane' on a 1993 episode of Days Of Our Lives and then played a 'Secretary' on that same soap opera in 1995. Kerry Noonan specializes in women and religion, women's folklore, and religious folklore. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Folklore from UCLA, currently teaches at Cal State Northridge, and has offered classes at Otis College of Art and Design. She received her B.A. in Theater from UCLA, and worked as a professional actress for 13 years before returning for her advanced degrees in Folklore.
As of 1996, Kerry has also played in a band called 'The Descendants', focused on folk and Irish music, where she was a singer and a guitar player.
Update: Kerry Noonan recently appeared on the game show, "Win Ben Stein's Money." She won the game and got to face Ben Stein in the finals. Unfortunately she lost to Ben, 8-7.
Kerry appeared on the television show Exploring the Unknown, hosted by Mitch Pileggi of the X-Files that aired on the Fox Family Channel in 1999 and 2024. She appeared in one segment regarding how the full moon affects people's perceptions. When she is first featured in the segment, her name is displayed on the screen as Kerry Noonan and says she is a folklorist at UCLA.
