Biography: Terry Kiser was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Kiser first came to the TV screen as 'Dr. John Rice' on the daytime soap The Doctors. Some of his other well known roles include 'Journalist Al Craven' on the series Night Court and 'Bobby McDermott' on Good Company. Of all of Terry Kiser's acting roles, his best known might just be one where he spends most of his time on-screen with no dialogue and hardly any movement. As 'Bernie Lomax' in the comedy Weekend at Bernie's, Kiser played an evil insurance company boss who was rubbed out, but ended up manipulated like a puppet in order to fool a mob hit man into believing he was still alive.
