Biography: "Melody Johnson has been acting as long as she can remember. She spent the early years of her childhood taking singing and dancing lessons. She has been a competitive dancer for ten years and only recently had to give it up because of her busy acting schedule. Melody was discovered after she won numerous singing and dancing competitions. At this time she was only eight years old. Her first leading role in the TV series Goosebumps got her instant recognition. Many other television shows followed including her role of 'Maxine Morrow', in the Disney series, Flash Forward. Her first feature film, Coming Unglued, featured Melody in the lead role as 'Celina Hartwood' with Cody Jones, Judge Reinhold and Joley Fischer. Melody's latest appearance was in the TV movie, Ricky Nelson: Original Teen Idol, where she plays the country and western singer 'Laurie Collins', Ricky Nelson's first girlfriend.
