  1. I wish My town would get a special screening of a horror classic. The closest we ever came was a midnight screening of The Lost Boys.

  2. Can’t wait. Going October 12!

  3. Johathan…. see you there buddy! It’s about time Houston get something cool like this. I wish we would have gotten the first three films like austin did. :( Oh well…. This is the only one I’ve not seen in the theatre.

  4. Yeah its about time! Seems like we always get skipped when it comes to vintage cool 80s horror movies!

  5. hey jonathan….
i saw the film last night at the movie tavern in humble. I wanted to let you know that it’s not a 35mm print, it’s the blu ray uncut version. WOW!!!!! I have the blu ray, but to see it on a huge screen..:) The sad part was that there were only 4 people in the theatre. Sad… Very Sad. Where are all you friday fans? Oh well.. your loss. Have a good time dude!

  6. Seriously? That is a ripoff, plain and simple. I went to see a showing of Braveheart at a place one time and when the DVD trailers started popping up before the movie started I went out to the lobby, got a refund, and left. I can watch the DVD or Blu-Ray at home on my flat screen. Why would anyone want to pay the money to go to a theater and watch a DVD or Blu-Ray willingly?

  7. Hey Jasonsfury,
I know what you mean. It sucked that it was on blu ray but on the other hand i finally got to see it in a theatre on the big screen. I have a 60″ tv but the first friday was the only one i had never seen in the theatre. So it meant a lot to me. You know what’s strange? They didn’t show the paramount logo before the movie started. Can’t they get in trouble for even showing the movie since dvd’s are not to be shown publicly? The same thing happen 3 years ago when they showed the original Halloween. It was a dvd but again it was the same thing. It was the only halloween I had never seen in the thearte. Also I wanted to let you know that I got my Revoltech Jason figure yesterday from big bad toy’s. All I can say is WOW!!!!! I wished i had bought 2 of them. I think a lot of fans are going to or wished they had. The package is beautiful and the jason figure is hands down the greatest jason figure(my opinion) ever made. The only complaint is i wished the figure was bigger, like the neca figures. Oh well… I can send you pictures if you haven’t gotten yours yet. let me know:)
