A few weeks back I posted images of the front covers and Part 1 and Part 2 had slightly different covers than what we are use to seeing on VHS, Laserdisc and DVD. Well, I finally got my hands on the Friday The 13th CED’s this week and wanted to share images of the back covers for Part 1 and Part 2 as they are drastically different than anything shown on home video before.
I really love seeing Crazy Ralph featured on the back of the Part 2 CED. Great stuff!

Ah, the good ol’ days! Our first home video system was CED (or “video disc” as it was commonly called at the time). You had to flip the movie over half-way through the film, and pretty much everything was pan-and-scan! These really sucked, but at the time we thought they were awesome!
I will say that the gigantic covers were cool for checking out the artwork.
The Friday the 13th Part II CED is a work of art. The Friday the 13th Part I not so much.
I LOVE the artwork for part 2..its so refreshing to see different images used.

They should’ve used the CED cover of part 2 for the VHS and DVD covers.
