Thai Friday the 13th Poster
I love the art work involved in this poster. The posters that are released in Thailand can be very beautiful and this poster is no different. The drawings depicting the different scenes of the movie are spectacular and really give this poster a unique and nostalgic look as the one movie that started it all.
woah! so cool!
i love this i wanna see all the posters like this.
retro awesomeness
Nice – A few spoilers in there though….
Thai posters always have some amazing story-specific artwork involved – just look at the Evil Dead one for similar spoilage by comparison.
Beautiful as hell, though. If only posters in general had artwork at all anymore. Thanks a lot, Adobe. >:(
I’m Thai.
But this is first time I see this poster.
It is very very old.
It’s really nice! I wonder what it says in the part that ends with “?!” Looks like there’s “?!?” above that.
Alice has a shotgun?
No, that would be a rifle.
Damn it!
Are there any fireams apart from maybe the cop’s in this movie?
slashy,
Alice had a rifle during the chase-sequence but she was unable to get any cartridges (which were locked in a drawer). Just watch the movie again
Here´s the turkish-poster for part 2 which features a great drawing of Ginny.

Nice Poster
I love her jumping out of the Jeep.
Also the part 2 poster is cool. 13 GUN! Ha! Love it!
Very cool!
I’m a regular eBay Friday early series (Paramount parts 1-through-5 for me) poster buyer of the originals, as well as re-prints, and I tend to find the foreign away from North American shores poster’s the hands-down BEST ones out there, to be quite honest!
Indeed if they ONLY made seminal classic one-sheets like those anymore! *sigh* Ah well, at least we got some classic ones out there to collect. Must sya the French daybill of Part 2, as well as a Belgian one of Part 2 (for the southern Francophonic French language speaking region at it’s bottom) are some of my faves, as well as some Spanish, Italian and Bulgarian ones I found. Genuineally very cold & creepy, many times, and do a MUCH better job oer capturing the over all series then the North American English language ones, I feel.
Good job on Jasonsfury, as always. If I ever find any really rare, cool stuff that I think should be featured, I wanted to ask Jasonsfury what is his e-mail address? Was just curious.
Captain_Brandon,
My email is jason.parker at fridaythe13thfilms.com. Shoot me an email anytime!
Theres no Jason on it, stupid really! considering he is the main star!!!!
Big thannks, Jasonsfury! And I shall my good man
Very nice poster I just got the beautiful Quad from england the one with the montage of images in the movie
BTW SLASHY Alice Did Have a shot gun when hiding from MRS VORRHEES she was trying to get the bullets out from a chained drawer when Mrs Voorhees walks in and says with her sig smile \

CAT:
Jason was not the main star of part one. If you have ever heard Sean Cunningham talk about this movie he states how Jason was just a small back story to explain why his mom was killing everyone.
Though he becomes the main icon of the series later, truly they never put much emphasis on him when writing this one. It was mostly about the kills and suspense more than for the story. Or at least that was my personal take on how Sean explained it.

I can’t believe that no one has mentioned that great 3D Axe Handle.
I don’t collect many posters but I really like this one.

I just saw this JF! This is my favorite in my collection! I posted this in another thread, but I just got the Thai part 2! It is gorgeous and apparently very rare. I had never seen the artwork before anywhere. I was so nervous to bid as I was worried it would go super high, but I was prepared to fight! LOL!
You got some great posts on here…I am just checking them all out now!
I was watching that auction, MrsV. I too thought it was going to go high. However, the seller had listed it before and no one bit on it at all. I thought that strange. Maybe it was the starting price that scared everyone away.
