Upcoming TV Schedule For Friday Movies In High Def
It’s been awhile since we have mentioned Friday the 13th movies airing on television as quite frankly there have not been too many airing of late. However, that has changed as Ian sent me a message on Twitter that Friday the 13th Part 1-6 played on Dish Network last week. Because of this revelation, I did some digging and found that there are certain movies from the franchise that will airing in the very near future. If you are subscribers to Dish Network or Directv, you are in luck.

I do not think it is listed for cable networks, I do have have a question if anyone can answer it, I read somewhere and I just happen to be looking up Walt Gorney ( crazy Ralph) God rest his soul, I read online somewhere just recently that he is uncredited for the narration for the opening sequence of Friday the 13th part 7 is this true? it does not sound like him but it is years later and a persons voice tends to get raspier as you get older.

I remember reading about him and it was stated that he was a very low key kind of guy, maybe he did that piece out of respect for the franchise,just wanted to do it kind of thing, I dunno. But yea, it sure didnt sound like him.

I just wish they’d bring back the TNT’s “Monster Vision” with host Joe Bob Briggs. I would even prefer the air time to be the actual old video archives to be aired with those ’90’s commercials even aired. (Similar to how MTV2 had that Friday Night retro line up a while back) I miss Joe Bob saying, “In Friday the 13th Part 3…” followed by a ramble, or the equally loved Godzilla movie marathon! I stayed up an entire 48 hour marathon for that when I was a kid multiple times.
On a side note,I’d really enjoy Mystery Science Theatre hosting a “Friday” movie as well…

Holy hell–MST3K would be great for “Friday the 13th”–been watching episodes on Netflix watch instantly lately. That would be great.
dachshund, I’m with you on that. Monsters HD was my favorite channel on TV. Even my wife who’s not the biggest Horror fan in the world watched it 24/7 with me. She loved it. Dang!
Thanks for the answer, I did not think it was him but now I know,I would like to think that crazy ralph is in a way dealing with old jason in a different realm just tormenting him and jason is has a fear of ralph and the tables in a weird way have been turned on jason maybe the roles have been changed and jason is the one hunted for all the people he has killed over the years, I know dumb idea but the thought was there.
MonstersHD was my favorite channel ever and it is a travesty that we lost it. Friday the 13th was on every month.
