NECA regains Friday the 13th license?
That seems to be the word coming out of Comic Con. With the horror collecting community now buzzing, what does this mean for the amazing Cinema of Fear line, featuring horror icons from the New Line House of Horrors, from Mezco? What does NECA have in store? Can they live up to the highly popular Cinema of Fear series? Stay tuned. More on this coming soon.
I think cinema of fear has been doing a great job it will be sad if neca doesnt allow them to continue with jason figs, neca is sorta gay in my opinion, meaning there figures airent as cool.
Mezco isn’t allowed to lose the F13 license before they have a chance to make a Roy figure for Cinema of Fear.
I think that NECA has done a great job in the past. However, they have some outrageous prices for some of their figures. I guess it all comes down to the materials used to create the figure and the time taken to develop the look of the character.
Mezco sculpts of their “Jason” rule hands down over NECA! The detail and articulation are so much better. It will be very sad to see Mezco not prouduce anymore Jason’s. Lets hope for the BEST!
I’ve always thought the large-scale NECA sculpts were far superior to anything else out there.
They are good sculpts, but I have to say I am a little disapointed with my Neca Jason remake one.
Sad news. I love NECA’s sculpts, but Mezco has great sculpts as well. Mez one-ups the competition by including lots of accessories, as well as a great character selection. They’ve given us several different versions of Jason that had, up until this point, been ignored in the 7″ scale. I REALLY hope Mezco is still able to make the 3-3/4″ scale figures.
