Biography: "Kirsten was born to Mai-Britt Gabrielsen in Norway, but at six weeks of age was brought to California and adopted by William and Sally Baker. Kirsten, along with her younger brother Clayton, were raised just outside of Los Angeles. Before graduating from high school with a golden-seal mid-term, Kirsten had begun modeling to save money for art school.
Kirsten Baker made her film debut in California Dreaming. Throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s, she worked as an actress in feature films and television, as well as a print model for Cannon Pictures. This led to a modelling career which she pursued into the early 1990s." - IMDB.com
Update:"Kirsten had a lead role in a sci-fi/horror film that was filmed in Los Angeles in January of 1982 called Sector 13. It was completed, and owned by New World Pictures. The following year, New World went bankrupt and sold most of it's product, but Sector 13 was never sold and has since sat on the shelf somewhere collecting dust.
Also, the film Please Don't Eat The Babies, had some major production issues. It started filming in 1982 or 1983, with Kirsten in a co-starring role. However, financial problems once again occured, and it was never finished. Flash forward to October of 1988, where producers found the footage, hired two young actresses to film new footage around the old footage, and that became Island Fury. When you watch the film, it is so obvious that some segments of the film are older due to the color. The two teen girls are trapped on an island of cannibals, and the flashbacks show Kirsten having boat trouble and being attacked on the same island." - Thanks to Dave Grubka
