“Hallow Pointe” Offers A “New Blood” Reunion
I was shocked to see this many people from the Friday the 13th series, specifically The New Blood, involved with this movie. Besides the Friday Alumn, there are a lot of horror genre vets involved too. Reading the list of actors involved is like reading a Horror Hound Video Guide with a who’s who of horror actors. Here are the people from the Friday the 13th series that are involved:

Special Effects are being handled by legendary John Carl Buechler and Magical Media Industries. Production Designer Anthony Tremblay (The Devils Rejects and Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN), will be bringing his unique talents to the film.
Hallow Pointe is being produced and directed by Bobby Ray Akers Jr, also producing is John Carl Buechler, Jon Morgan Woodward, Anthony E. Cabral

I like that poster. It reminds me of the early 90s’ vhs boxes of some straight to video classics. I’m a little excited to see this.
Rumor has it that parts of it will be filmed where New Blood was filmed. That is what inspired my recent trip to Stockton. At first I was told that it was scouted for the F13 2 sequel, but I found disproved that by messaging Derek Mears and Brad Fuller. I will let you all know if Hallow Pointe will film at or near Stockton. I got a maybe? from Steve Barton AKA(Uncle Creepy Dread Central).
The rumor that filming is out at Byrnes Lake has been debunked by Joe Knetter and Steve Barton.
Would have been a cool link to the Friday the 13th series if they had filmed the movie there.
