Friday Conversation: Your Favorite Kill In The Franchise
Friday the 13th is known for two things: T&A and creative death scenes. The series is jam packed wall to wall with them. The death scenes are the trademark of the franchise. Kane Hodder has his favorite kill, the sleeping bag death scene in The New Blood. I have 4 kills that I think are awesome. What’s your favorite or favorites?

It hard for me to rank them because there are so many that come to mind. Here are a few of my favorites.
Final Chapter – The hitch hiker with the banana get knife through the throat
JTM – Jason’s “best shot” against Julius
New Blood – Sleeping bag kill (uncut fuck that one would of been great)
Final Chapter – “Where’s the cork screw?”
F13th 2024 – Catch the axe Lawrence. . . ouch.

Jason’s Death from F13 Part 4. Corey Feldman delivered some serious pwnage when he smacked Jason in the side of the head with that machete. My favorite scene in the whole franchise.
I think my favorite Kill of the whole franchise was the arrow through the throat in the original. It looks so much better uncut in the new deluxe version.

a) Melissa getting a vicious axe shot to the head in the New Blood. F’ing bitch deserved it big time. Dr Crews’ scene should have been the best kill of the movie, but it was too toned down for the theatrical release.
b) Not my favorite, but it makes me cringe every time I see it or think about it….Paul getting speared in the package in the Final Chapter….aghhh….
c) As bad as a movie as it was the uncut JGTH is riddled with gruesome deaths….Deborah getting split in half, Shelby being fried to death, & Vicki having her head crushed.

Part 4- Jimbo and the corkscrew
Jason getting it from a kid (Tommy) in the Final Chapter.
The idea of it was pure awesome…
i have to say I’m not up my Jason Goes to Hell kills. I saw that once in the theater when it came out, so my memory is hazy. “Jason” prodiminantly isn’t doing the deeds, so I don’t really care. I don’t believe in this “soul” stuff. I will see the movie again soon though.
Since there’s not much gore, I tend to like the ones with clever editing.

Junior’s decapitation in part 5 was done awesomely, but my favorite kill of all would have to be Trent’s extended death from the Killer Cut of Friday the 13th 2024.
While it´s not my favourite kill in the franchise I´ll say that´s Jack´s death in Part 1 was the one kill that set the standards for the gore of the F13th to folow. Without that kill F13th would just have been random stabbing and hacking without innovative kills.
My top 3 kkills of the saga are:
Jim´s corkscrew/ cleaver-combo (TFC)
Doug getting his head crushed (TFC)
The frozen-head smash from Jason X
An honorable mention goes to Mark from Part 2: A vicous jumper-kill out of nowhere to a handcapped, sympathic character!

There are alot of kills that I think are good, But here are my top favorites, In no order.
Friday 09 – Trent’s truck of terror
That death was brutal, The dude that was the asshole throughout the whole move finally got his. And yeah getting a machette through your body then getting thrown on the back of a tow truck to drag your body away…..Thats bad ass
Friday 09 – Sleeping Bag
Just the total brutatilty in it….I mean I thought the classic sleeping bag death was awesome. But Being strung over a hot camp fire in a sleeping bag upside down to be cooked to death? Thats brutal.
Jason Goes To Hell – Sex Impalment
Yeah, that was just had alot of gore in it.
Jason Lives – Triple Be-heading
Well..that chick swore she heard something, and look where it got her. Iced X3! Three kills in one fair swing of a machette.
Final Chapter – Jasons Death
If part 4 really was the final chapter I would have no problem with it. Jason was killed in a blood fest. A machette sliding through his head, Well done.

My Top 12 “Friday The 13th” Kills (one from each film):
1. F13 — Marci getting an axe slammed in her face.
2. F13, Part 2 — Jason slams a machete into the face of the guy in a wheelchair, and then the guy falls backwards down a flight of stairs.
3. F13, Part 3 — Jason crushes a guy’s head and then his eyeball shoots out. (Looks even better in 3-D).
4. F13, Part 4 — Jason stabs Crispin Glover in the hand with a corkscrew, and then slams a meat cleaver into his face.
5. F13, Part 5 — A greaser kid gets a road flare jammed into his mouth.
6. F13, Part 6 — Jason slams a girls face into and semi-through the wall of an RV van.
7. F13, Part 7 — Jason shoves a party-horn into a girl’s eye socket.
8. F13, Part 8 — Jason murders a punk rock chick with her own guitar.
9. JGTH — Jason impales a waitress on a spike, and then crushes her head until her brains pop out of her skull.
10. JX — Jason freezes a girl’s head in liquid nitrogen and then smashes it to pieces on a table.
11. FVJ — Jason repeatedly stabs a guy laying in bed, and then crushes the guy to death by folding the bed in half.
12. F13 2024 — Jason kills a girl hiding under a dock by shoving a machete through the dock and into her skull.
I like that one death in the new blood where Jason squeezes this guy’s head he grabs his jaw and the top of his head
Favorite kill is the sleeping bag kill.
One of my other favorites is when Jason uses a party favor.

Favorite kills are the sleeping bag kill from New Blood and the face-freezing scene from Jason X. Also, an honorable mention goes out to Jason turning that guy’s head 180 degrees in Freddy vs. Jason.

One of my favorite kills is in FvJ, where the fat guy gets impaled by a flying, fiery machete. You know that had to hurt!
THE FINAL CHAPTER : THE TWIN GIRL FLYING THROUGH THE WINDOW AND LANDING ON THE CAR ! WE CAN HEAR HER BONES BREAKING ! THAT’S SWEET !

Spear Gun death in pt 3 stands out…maybe cause its Jason with the mask first kill

also the wheelchair kill…call me sick but that stands out cause it shows how merciless jason really is

Vera with the spear gun in pt. 3. Still my all time fav. Probably because it\’s the first scene where Jason shows up with the hockey mask on too.
It’s hard to say. As morbid as this may sound, I like every death, because every death has them screaming and gurgling.

There are really so many and after seeing some of the other favorites I gotta say, I’m not sure I have favorites. It’s more like some kills come to mind depending on what movie I feel like watching or I’m trying to remember because I have not watched it in a while. I watched Halloween II (2009) last week kinda left me hungry for more blood. I think I’m gonna go watch part 7 or 8 right meow.
I like the FVJ Trent bed kill with Jason showing off his emense power!
Being a dude myself, Andy’s death in part 3 is the worst in my opinion. Favorite has to be that or the wheelchair kill in part 2. Can’t decide.
After watching part 3 again, I have to say Andy’s… And if part 7 wasn’t censored so much, I think Melissa’s would’ve been one of the best. I know it’s a long shot, but I still really hope they release an uncut version of 7 some day.
