Production Crew Challenge: Special Makeup Effects Results
I can’t say that I was too surprised to see the results for this part of the production. There are a lot of talented effects people and companies involved in the series and it was interesting to see where the votes went. I was, however, surprised by the low turnout of voting. I suppose our visitors had the feeling that Savini would be chosen.
We are going to finish up the Production Crew Challenge next week and wanted to open up the floor to everyone. What aspect of the production, that we have not covered yet, would you like to vote on? We’ll take the most requested aspect of the production and make it our last Production Crew Challenge. So, let us know what you want!

I think we have a pretty obvius winner here…
The only thing that i can think of, is having a good producer. But other then that i can think of anything else.

Of course Tom Savini won. He was the first to create awesome effects with little money. KNB was taught by Savini. If you watch the original Day of the dead, Greg Nicotero is part of the cast..and thats where Savini taught Him the tools of the trade. Like I said before there were alot of good effects companies that contributed to the series. Like John Buechler and MMI, Im a huge fan. The movie Hatchet proves Buechler still has it. KNB has done kick ass effects for so many movies I cant even count. Thats one good thing I can say for Jason goes to hell, KNB did the effects. But anyway, there hasnt been a producers challenge yet (which Frank Mancuso JR. would win, and why not?) Plus someone above mentioned filming locations, thatd be cool. My idea, best stunt cordinator. Alot of the Jasons have been protrayed by stuntmen (of course Kane Hodder would win, hes crazy). Anyway keep em coming, and Ill keep voting.
How about casting or Film Editing?

cinematography. one of the few areas where part 8 might have an edge
cinematography, film editing and film location. I like these so far. Keep them coming guys and girls.
