Fan Film: Friday the 13th: No Man’s Land

We always want to support fan films as people that visit our website are huge fans of the Friday the 13th franchise. As such, our visitors are also the ones that are creating these tributes to Jason Voorhees and the Friday the 13th saga. Well, currently, site visitor Dave Hastings is preparing to create his vision of the Crystal Lake universe by filming his new movie, ‘Friday the 13th: No Man’s Land’.

Synopsis:

F13: No Man’s Land is a thrilling new fan made venture which returns us to the terrifying world of Jason Voorhees, and the chilling area he calls home, Crystal Lake. When a group of youngsters, accompanied by two road travellers find themselves stumbling accidently into the now abandoned realm of the infamous and long since gone Camp, it isn’t long before they are picked off one by one by someone who isn’t too happy to have been disturbed. Shot entirely in the United Kingdom, F13: No Man’s Land brings Jason back once more to unleash bloody terror just in time for Halloween 2024.

For more information about his soon to be shot fan film, check out the progress of the film at the production’s blog, http://lightbeamproductions.blogspot.com/. Good luck to Dave and his crew!

  1. Good luck to Dave and co; I look forward to seeing this.

The location pics are fantastic, great choice.

  2. Awesome! I’m looking forward to this. This is great news. We just had ‘The Man In The Lake’. Now we’re going to see this. I hope they do a great job. I’m sure they will. You guys should put up ‘Friday The 13th: Mother’s Day’ on this site. That waas a decent fan film too.

  3. Good luck! I love seeing fan films. I think that the fans can do a better job than what any studio has done for Jason in the last twenty years.

  4. Thanks everyone for your support and encouragement, its been a mad but brilliant last few days of filming! And thankyou to blogmaster Jason for giving us this brill exposure. Filming will commence next week, but if you pop over to the blog site, I’ve posted up some new pictures from the past week. Hope you enjoy!

    Cheers and kind regards

    Dave Hastings

  5. Good luck Dave. It looks like you guysare having a lot of fun!

  6. Sounds cool. It says from the makers of Halloween Nightfall. On the Halloween 25 years of terror DVD (The Michael Myers documentary) that one of the Halloween fan films actually played in a Canadian theatre. Im just not sure if it was Nightfall. If it was, this might be a kickass FT13th fan film.

  7. i love fan films. i love how the fans are so into F13 they take time and money to create these flicks. good luck on filming and can’t wait to see the flick!

  8. I just now watched “The Man in the Lake”. Since I didn’t get to comment on its own blog, I will comment here. This is really to those who would criticize the film, or any fan film. It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan filmmaker or just a fan viewer-I myself have never ventured to make one of these thing and can’t begin to imagine the stress, money, and hard work put into (at least The Man in the Lake) making these little gems. They are strictly for fun and maybe to get the filmmakers skills up, too. But fans make these films for the same reason fans watch them, or come to this website, or pay their hardearned cash to see another lame Hollywood sequel. They want to see all things Jason. It seems to me the only thing Hollywood has going for it is the production values, expensive cameras and editing…I really liked The Man in the Lake. The beauty behind the flick is that it doesn’t have to be perfect, nothing ever is. But the filmmakers assembled an impresive cast, put together some gnarly f/x and delivered an entertaining little fan film that made me smile. Great job! Looking forward to “No Man’s Land” P.S. I just (sort of) watched a little known flick called 100 Tears, about a killer clown with a giant meat cleaver…maybe you heard of it? That film is terrible. The Man in the Lake is a 100 times better…

  9. Hiya everyone again, thankyou so much for the kind comments, I have passed them onto the cast and crew also. Filming has recommenced this week and last night, poor Crazy Ralph found himself on the wrong side of Jason! I’ve set up an official facebook page for the film, so if you head over there and search the films title you should find us, I’ve posted up pictures again, some new, some from the first night of shooting (ironically Friday The 13th August, which was surreal to say the least). If anyone has any problems getting the facebook page, let me know and I’ll point you in the right direction. I’ll update on the projects progress there and give the latest news on it also. Thankyou again everyone for your kind support and encouragement, it really means alot!

  10. Link to our official Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/pages/Friday-The-13th-No-Mans-Land/144334922266538?v=wall, come and see what the latest news is regarding the film! Cheers all!
