Graphic Novel: ‘Jason Must Rule’

Italian artist Alessandro Marzi and original Jason actor Ari Lehman are teaming up for a new graphic novel featuring Ari as the lead protaganist. It has been mentioned by Ari and a few others for a while now that there would be a comic or graphic novel created based on the self proclaimed “First Jason”. Now, it looks as though ideas and artwork are coming together as the beginning stages of the project have begun.

Below are some character sketches and ideas that have been created to help flesh out the story and concept. For more information on the project, check out the official Facebook Page and track the progress of this graphic novel through to the very end!

  1. Awesome!!! Ari Lehmans been very busy lately, so far the graphic novel looks cool. And I really hope the TV series about the teenaged Jason happens. As I recall Ari is supposed to be involved.

  2. Um… I don’t know what to think about this.

  3. He really, really wants to bank off his Jason past. Seems like a fan fic with a genre star attached to it which is what it is. Eh.

  4. Casey Jones!
Seriously though, I don’t get it either. One thing I’ll never have against Ari Lehman is his devotion to Friday the 13th. I just hope he doesn’t go over his head.

  5. Ari seems like a great guy, and it’s good that he is so passionate about Friday the 13th, but this seems a little ridiculous. I hope for his sake it’s successful.

  6. oooooookkkkkkkk????? Really? Ari a cool dude but come on! Nothing against the guy, but is this all he has? To keep cashing in on his 5 seconds of screen time. I know he was the first Jason, but when I think Jason, I think White, Booker, Kane, ect. Personally, I think I will pass on this.

  7. Wow unexpected… however i do know about the artist… he is the artist for a zombie comic book ive been following called Linkville! he is reallllllly good! :-) So i may just pick it up if its published in the US.
