Jason Voorhees’ Hockey Jersey Stays In Vegas

By now, I am sure that you have seen the Halloween costume combo pack that can be purchased with a generic hockey jersey and hockey mask. The jersey sports a hockey mask logo and was a cool little idea for kids and adults to enjoy. However, Jason would look so much better wearing an official jersey with much better detailing. For such detailing, enter minor league hockey!

According to official message boards for the ECHL Las Vegas Wranglers, the team has created 15 unique jerseys over the 5 year existense of the team. Apparently, some awful ideas were created, including a Hawaiin shirt themed jersey. However, the teams best seller was the Friday the 13th jersey and one such jersey popped up on eBay recently.

The jersey sold only on Friday, January 13th, 2006 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and was later embroidered by the team with dripping numerals and name font. There is a red slash trim and a patch with January 13, 2006 on the left sleeve. Would our visitors pay an exceptable amount of money to take one of these home? It looks like a pretty cool jersey to frame and hang with other Friday the 13th collectibles!

  1. Now that is frickin awesome! I would proudly wear that. What’s the cost?

  2. I think this particular item was selling for $60 as a starting price. Not bad for a hockey jersey. That may have been a starting bid, however.

  3. Thanks for the tip, i just bought it!!! I found it appropriate since i’m a hockey fan and friday the 13th fan!!!
