  1. Cool. I can’t wait to read someone else’s thoughts-whatever they may be. It’s my opinion that these movies provide more than just simple entertainment; they provide experiences and long-lasting memories. I hope this becomes a regular thing.

  2. Same as above!!!!

  3. No ideas yet??? Hmmm.

  4. For me the most powerful aspect of what I could right was my first experience watching a Friday movie in a theater. The Final Chapter scared me half to death. I’d write one about my first theatrical experience.

  5. Thats funny, I was just thinking about this last night. If I were to do a guest blog, it would be simple. I would ask all the visitors of the site, and its creators what is their favorite FT13th film and why. And I would want honest answers, even if a persons favorite was Jason Takes Manhattan or Freddy Vs Jason. I would find that interesting. Believe it or not some peoples favorites are part 8 or Jason Goes To Hell. My Mom actually loved Part 8 with a passion, its the whole Julius gets His head knocked off death thing. To this day She gets a kick out of that installment.

  6. Honestly, I would write about we as F13th film fans go through. I mean, I’m not the only semi-fanatic visitor to this site and its important to highlight that all of us love these films and some people find us “quirky” because of it. I don’t know just my two cents haha

  7. For me, If I were to guest blog, I would just write about my being hooked on the series and Friday the 13th part VI: Jason Lives being my first Friday film back in 1986 on VHS. That and the infatuation I had with the series, bombarding and obsessing with friends and family in regards to them, annoying them, showing how much I loved the Friday the 13th’s and just the in genre itself in general. My experience purchasing my first VHS, renting my first Friday, sneaking around to watch them when my dad prohibited it, watching them on USA’s Up All Night and getting my kicks from that aspect. So on and so on and so forth, that and then some , is what I would probably write.

  8. I would write about how people blame horror films, slasher films specifically, for kids acting crazy.

  9. I would like to write a piece that studies the character arc that Jason Voorhees has traveled throughout the series. Jason began as more of a catalyst than an actual threat, and his transformation from avanged victim, to slasher, to inspiration, to undead menace, to spacefaring cyborg has been one of the broadest developmental changes in a character in any genre of fiction. I think it would make for an interesting study.

  10. [...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by Travis Legge, Gravedigger's Local and fridaythe13thfilms, fridaythe13thfilms. fridaythe13thfilms said: Guest Blogger For A Day: What Would You Write About? http://fridaythe13thfilms.com/blog/guest-blogger-for-a-day-what-would-you-write-about/ [...]

  11. Now we all love and respect the Friday the 13th franchise, which is what the last blog thoroughly touched on. And as much as we should keep that respect alive, I think it’d be a neat idea to have a tounge-in-cheek History report type of blog that covers the “unsolved mysteries” of the franchise from start to finish, ranging from the original taking place on the impossible date of Friday, June 13, 1979 to Jason Voorhee’s costume closet in his lake that he only seems to use in between movies…
